2 quick items I need help with please.

1. I'm looking for a particular Billy/Karl fic I read a while ago. In it, Billy thought Karl was a boring know-it-all but accidentally got roped into going on a canoe trip with him. They got into an argument which ended with the paddle being lost, Karl beaching the boat and leaving Billy on the side of the river. Anyone know where I can find this one?

2. I'm also looking for an active community with Dave Wenham stories. I belong to a yahoo craig/david group but there hasn't been anything for months. Anyone have any suggestions on an active Dave community?

All right... I returned from England late Saturday night... after over 27 hours of non-stop travelling. Mein Gott. I'm still extremely jet-lagged. Anyway, my apologies, but Part III of "One" was not posted when I said it would (yesterday), nor today, though it will almost positively be posted tomorrow. My poor beta (red_moon_rising) has been sick! Go send her get well comments! (Also, Cai has convinced me to write another part of "One." I have to write it tonight or tomorrow. She's holding the beta for Part IV as bait until I get the final part to her. I quote her: "Blackmail, my love. *smiles* Blackmail." She's evil, no?)

Anyway... My lovely beta has a squick. Well, two squicks. The first is a death!fic squick. I happen to love writing death!fics, so this is going to be a slight problem. She also doesn't really like AU fics. And I've just started getting into an AU kick, and I'm beginning to write one.

So, I'm looking for a beta reader. Someone who will not just inform me of any typos or grammatical errors, but will tell me any thoughts as they go along (anything they think was written particularly well, or if something should be re-worded... and if so, any suggestions they might have). I will most likely not send you all my fics (I adore Cai, I'm not giving her up!), but perhaps just death!fics and AUs. Though I may try being double-beta'ed, to try to bring my stories to the next level of quality. So, if you think you're up to the job, and you think that, for the most part, you'll get stories back to me relatively quickly (within a week at the longest), then... please let me know! Just let me know your email, if you want me to put it in an attachment or copy-paste into the email, and whatnot. *nods*
