A New Community With a Twist!

I hope that no one minds me placing this here, I promise to do it only once and not be an annoying person who posts and posts...

But I thought both ladies and gentlemen would be interested.

I have started a new community called men_who_slash and I hope you will check it out.

Men are encouraged to join and I hope lots of people, both female and male, will friend it and read!

I am especially hoping for (of course) LotRs fiction and RPS with the LotRs actors!

For men, it will be a place to showcase their work, and the unique perspective of male/male relationships (emotionally, spiritually and sexually) from a MAN'S point of view.

(this is not meant to exclude anyone)

For women, it will be a place to READ stories from that unique point of view and I can't help but think that it will help in research and telling their stories from a more male pov.

SO I really really hope you will check it out. AND PLEASE, let any male writers you know about the community.

AND PLEASE... Don't created a LJ with a male persona so you can write stories there and prove a point. You'll do nothing but hurt everyone that way! THANKS! *G*

I know some people like to have graphics in the headers of their stories, and that's all well and good. But I would like to request that the bigger ones are please, please, please, put under a cut. It's common courtsey, folks. The pictures, lovely though they may be, make loading a friendslist take much, much longer.

In short: have mercy on we fossils using dial-up. Use lj-cuts for large header graphics.
