Written for the Unapologetic Challenge.

The third rule of the challenge runs thus: the song must be an integral part of the plot. "person x woke up to the radio blaring [song name] .. *fic unrelated to song in any way*" is not acceptable and that fic will be disqualified. save us the time & don't submit. I hope that my story qualifies. I hope that the themes of death and driving, and using lyrics to convey thought will be enough to qualify me.

Title: One Headlight
Rating: PG-13 for some swearing.
Characters: Elijah Wood, Dominic Monaghan, mentioned Billy Boyd
Genre: Angst

Title: Innocence Lost
Author: _sblomie
Rating: PG/PG-13 [angst, sexual references]
Pairing: Dom. Mention of Domorli and Viggorli.
Summary: Dom reflects on his relationship with Orlando.
Disclaimer: This is purely fictional. And the basis of this story is drawn from recent happenings in my own life. It does not pertain to any storyline involving Dominic Monaghan and Orlando Bloom or even Viggo Mortensen (hiss!). This is merely what’s in my mind and needed to be put onto paper, of sorts.

My apologies in advance if anyone is upset by this post. I will remove it if anyone asks.

Lately, I've been seeing alot of people making up their own challenges, so I was thinking about starting a new challenge community. I know there are many out there already, but writers can always use a bit of inspiration, and I miss setting challenges since my Yahoo group disbanded.

Would anyone be interested in a new LotRiPS challenge community?

Edit: I made it, so if anyone wants more info, go have a look at [livejournal.com profile] limey_challenge.

Cheers!

Title: 185 Words Short and Then Some
Pairing: DM/BB
Disclaimer: Not even close.
Summary: Now is not the place for him to say, ‘I didn’t mean it’ or ‘I did mean it, but it’s all right if you don’t feel the same’ or ‘I’ll take it back if you won’t leave me here with crap black eyeliner in my eyes.’
Notes: REPOST. I've heard it works better with a link

Pairing: DM/BB
Rating: R/NC-17ish - phone sex and strong language.
Feedback: Always welcome
Disclaimer: Not real, never happened except in my head. Fictional characters with real people's names. What's behind the cut is RPS. If you don't like that, don't read it.

Notes: A follow up to 'Indulgence', although I don't think you need to have read that for this to work. Huge thanks to my beloved flowery_twat for the beta and the title. Cross-posted to [livejournal.com profile] monaboyd and [livejournal.com profile] fellow_shippers

A flock of sheep that leisurely pass by, one after one; the sound of rain, and bees murmuring; the fall of rivers, winds and seas, smooth fields, white sheets of water, and pure sky; I have thought of all by turns, and yet do lie, sleepless*

Title: Today Was Almost Perfect
Author: Caiden // [livejournal.com profile] varietyshow
Rating: PG
Pairing: DM/EW
Summary: Elijah likes to think the world revolves around him.
A/N: I sort of made up my own 15minuteficlet challenge. I took the last six words from oneword and spent just a few minutes writing about each one, but overall only giving myself fifteen minutes to write the piece.

Things happen in reverse chronological order here, because the whole story is a little off the wall. I really didn't have any set plot in mind when I started this, just closed my eyes and started writing.

Hope you enjoy. :) )
