The idea for this series came about because I got pissed off with various bits and pieces in fics which were too cliched, ill thought out or generally overdone. I decided, for reasons I cannot quite fathom, to express my displeasure through Billy and Dom, and then l_s_q hit me with sticks until I agreed to make it into a series. This particular part has no reference at all to fanfiction, but centres entirely around the England versus Scotland Six Nations Rugby match from 21st February.

And look! I have 'Billy Series' icons - thanks to the wonderful alex_dollard who I haven't thanked enough!

No prior understanding of the magnificent sport is required, although I have linked to a match breakdown inside, should you be interested. England / Scotland matches are always highly contested and the competition is not always friendly. Links to more photos at the end.

Setting

Present time, the world today, with the exception of one significant detail: persocoms. Computers, shaped like humans, with artifical intelligence. They're used for many things: accounting, household, sex toys.. They're programmable but also have the ability to learn new things on their own. Persocoms are expensive, but most people own one - and those who don't wish they did.

The characters live in Slash City, a small town in North America. Everything else (their background, their profession, etc) is up to you.
