Title: Pink Birthday Cake [3/?]
Author:

Pairing: Billy/Dom
Rating: PG
Thanks:
silentnumbsmoke for advising me in writing my first Monaboyd fic.
Warnings: One rude gesture.
Disclaimer: I own no one. THIS IS ALL FAKE.
Feedback: Please sir, I want some more!
Summary: Driving to the party.
Notes: Part 1 can be found here, and Part 2 is here.
Dom hopped into the driver's seat of his old, salt-stained BMW while Billy was attempting to shove the pink package into the backseat.
"Jesus, Dom, it smells like you've got all the seaweed in the Pacific in here!"
"Really? I didn't notice any bad smell until you got in the car." He smirked at Billy cheekily, who in turn punched him in the arm.
"Ow!!" Billy returned Dom's sassy grin.
"C'mon, we're gonna be late as it is. Go go go!"
Dom swerved out of his crooked parallel-park job into traffic, just missing a hit by a large SUV, whose driver offered a hand gesture often seen on the streets of LA.
"Dom! We've got to arrive at the party alive! Ali's not going to appreciate two of her uncles being smeared across the pavement on her birthday."
The stinky little Hobbit-bearing car sped down the road past building after building after building. A bank's marquee sign flashed, "27 November, 2003 - 4:57 PM - 78oF"
"Man… It is so nice having summer weather here at this time o' year. I think I should visit here more often. What do you think, Dom?"
"I think," he said, leaning in closer, "that you're absolutely correct." He stretched over and kissed Billy on the corner of his mouth, eyes not leaving the road ahead of them.
Eventually, they pulled into the neighbourhood, scanning gigantic green lawns and beautiful houses until they saw the one with pink balloons and streamers dancing about in the breeze.
