Learning Curve part 5

My bad. I didn't put an AU warning on part 4. Don't kill me, please. This is college fic. Let me know if I've botched it too much. Also, for sophrosyne31 and anyone else who doesn't know the NA university system, a TA is a teaching assistant, something most grad students become while getting their degree.

You're right, of course, to point out terms that are potentially confusing. We are a community separated by a common language, after all! *g*
I gave you credit because that's my way. I'm also a relentless footnoter in my academic stuff, so it's probably just a holdover from that.
