I'm going mental..

..with boredome.

Anyone who has an idea for a fic, but don't intend to write it..? I've run out of ideas and I'm desperate to write something. Anything!

*whines*

I'm posting a short one I wrote a while ago too. It's BB/DM and it's Rated G.

Dom always thought crying while the rain was pouring down was a good idea. “‘Cause if you’re walking really fast, nobody will se if all the wetness in your face is tears or raindrops.”

And so he did. He cried while walking away from Billy’s house.

But when he got onto the bus it wasn’t as easy anymore. The fact that the wetness on his cheeks didn’t dry although the rest of him did was hard to deny. The whimpers that escaped from his mouth couldn’t be blamed on the rain or feeling cold, since the bus was pretty warm. And pretty crowded as well.

And so he cried. Cried while travelling further away from Billy’s house.

Getting off the bus was a relief. Because now the rain was on his face again and blended with his tears. He walked down the small path and came to the bench where him and Billy had their first kiss. He could remember it as if it was yesterday though months, even years had passed. And he just couldn’t sit down. He simply stood there. Waiting. Hoping.

And so he cried. Cried for feeling so lonely. Because no comforting arms (Billy’s) were holding him, no hands (Billy’s) were caressing his back.

But suddenly, comforting arms (Billy’s?) were holding him.
Hot breath in his ear, thick accent saying;
“It’s alright Dominic. You can cry. I was being stupid anyways.” Billy!

And so he did. Cried and smiled and laughed and sobbed while being kissed.
Kissed by Billy.
His Billy.

Ffff...I've been looking for some poetic Billy/Lij. Something to do with rain, and summer. And...dark. Angsty. Living together. Nothing about filming...rah, that makes it sound so fangirlish. Depressed. I don't know if you listen to Bright Eyes, but Arienette, Padriac My Prince and Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh will get you in that frame of mind. I don't know. I'm rambling but if you wrote something of the type, you would officially rock. Eh. I hope this at least gives you some idea even if it's not this one.

*scuttles out from under her rock* could you possibly give me a url where any of those songs could be found? i'm not a big music dl'er, but that idea is rather evocative and my brain could use a little jumpstart. that is, of course, if the creator of this thread doesn't intend on writing it...

*grin* great! hopefully i'll have enough time/incentive to write it; i seem to keep making these sort of commitments and then slacking off on them. i should just make a wip list and tape it to my forehead...

http://saddle-creek.com Click Bright Eyes, and you should be able to get some of those songs. A Line Allows Progress, But A Circle does not is very good too. If you end up liking it, just go buy Fevers and Mirrors by Bright Eyes. Excellent album.

*grins* thank you. i do seem to recall having a giftcard for warehouse music lying around, so if i like them i will definitely go buy it. and we'll see what i can do about that fic, eh?

hmm. after checking out a few songs, i have to say i'm in awe of his songwriting skills, and the music itself is pretty good. i'm not a huge fan of his voice, but those songs do put you in an interesting mood...

*pastes sticky note to computer monitor* write.

there, now i'll remember. ^_^

a) So pretty and sad and nice and aww. Loved it.

b) I'm a horrible writer (I've only written a bit of stuff in [livejournal.com profile] ci_slash, never even attempted LOTR-related stuff) so I totally appreciate your offer to write something. I haven't been here very long, so I don't know if it's been done before or not, but a BB/OB or BB/DM proposal fic would be delightful. Or a huge fight, this story made me wonder about the fight before. I like to read fights a lot, and then angry kisses and such... I'm rambling, sorry.

a) Hm. If you mean that in a good way, then yes, because I think your writing style is really unique. It wasn't weird awkward though.

b) Hahaha! You're welcome, thank you for liking my ideas. I can't wait to read your next piece.

I've got a start on one but can't seem to finish it. Its to a part where Billy and Dom are drunk and falling into their appartment. They were clubbing with Lij and Orli. They left with women while Dom and Billy left with each other. If you want the full version gemme a comment plz.

Title: (untitled... so far)
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: billy-dom
Disclaimer: gay fuckage... don't like it don't read it
Author’s Note: This didn't happen, although I can dream can't I...=)
Author: SlightlyPsycho and Flumsan

The light of dawn dances a waltz across Billy's semi-parted lips. His emerald eyes gazed absently at the ceiling before rousing himself. Just as he realized that Dom wasn't there the phone rang. It was Dom.
"Hey Bills. Sorry I didn't come home last night. I got too messed up to drive or remember the address. Lij, Orli and I are going to pub later. Want ta go?"
"Its ok. I'd love to go. Could you come and pick me up though? No gas."
"Sure Billy-boy. We'll be there around 7."
"See you then."
A click sounded from the other end. Billy held the receiver to his ear for a time, as if... as if waiting for Dom to come back and talk. Finally, he put the phone down. Grudgingly, he pulled on a pair of pants, slowly, feeling the denim rub up his legs and the cool metal on the zipper rest on his bare loins. He paused a moment letting the metal warm from the heat of his body. He sighed and sniffed the armpit of a shirt. Deeming it clean enough, he put it on.
Billy went into the empty kitchen and made his breakfast. He plopped down in front of the tube, not really watching, just thinking. Wondering what Dom had done last night. After deciding that he hadn't done anything, the day past quickly, and, soon, there was a loud honk and the sound of laughter ensuing from the driveway.
"Piiiiiipppppiiiinnnnn!!!" chanted Orli, "The hobbits are waiting."
"Shut it, Orli," shot back Billy, tugging on his black silk shirt as he bounded toward the car. Dom's eyes followed Billy in awe at his languid grace. Dom, absently, ran a finger down Billy's wife beater-covered stomach sending a warm chill through Billy.

sure Its just I started this during a few of my classes and stopped. Stopping is something I can't do because I lose the flow and I can't get it back.

Mmm. I liked how it started out angsty but ended up quite fluffy. Very nice and sweet!

As for fic ideas... ehm... Dom in drag?

Well, I was thinking more of a 'just-for-laughs' drag, but either way is good. :p

i'll give you an idea... "smash", "mouse", "window", "sunday", "quiet". see what you can come up with, but including all five of those words.
