Marton did that to people, startled them in some way, drew secrets out that you never meant to reveal. But he wasn't a confidante. He was almost the opposite, fiercely solitary - but, if you caught his interest, perceptive, nearly intuitive. It's like when a wolf smells blood, Vin thought. I know what it feels like. You - you find the scent, and then that hunting lust just awakens. Definitely it was animalistic lust that Marton's actions, words, and body aroused in Vin, but he wasn't sure whether this lust could be - well, Whether he fucking means to do this to me.
