AN: Um, warning toothaches might occur; forali110 because she requested it and she doesn’t even like Sean!

Sean watched as Ali ran and jumped in Dominics’ arms. He felt a pang of jealousy deep inside him and glared in Dominics’ general direction. Bastard. Ali was his daughter, why was she running to him and clinging to him and jumping in his arms? This wasn’t right. Bastard.
Dominic smiled at Sean and came over, Ali on one hip. “Hey Old man, what’s up?”
Bastard. Stealing his daughter and then calling him names. Bastard. Sean pulled out his acting face. “Nothing, what’s up with you?”
He ruffled Alis’ hair and she smiled at him before turning her attention back to Dominic. Sean suppressed a growl of rage and stalked off to find Elijah. Dominic looked at Ali and kissed her forehead. “Daddy’s a bit grumpy today.”
She giggled.

Sean sat down, listening to the other three go on and on about something. He didn’t know and he didn’t care. He watched the TV, trying to ignore their loud rambunctious behavior. Dominic was fed up with Mr. Broody. He flopped himself into Seans’ lap and laid his head against Seans’ shoulder like he’d seen Christine do a thousand times. He wrapped his arms around him and in the best cutesy voice he could muster started talking to him.
“What’s wrong with our Seany-poo? Why is he being so broody?” He added a little trill and giggle at the end, causing Billy and Elijah to fall over in peals of laughter. “Why can’t he just be happy and join in the fun?”
Sean growled and tried to fight Dominic off to no avail. “Get off of me Dominic.”
“No Seany! I want to know what’s wrong! Are you feeling sensitive about your weight?” Dominiclovingly grabbed at Seans’ side and kissed him on the cheek, a wet sloppy kiss that burned Seans’ skin. Sean growled and shoved Dominic into the floor.
“I said get off, damn it.”
Dominic stared at Sean, confused and hurt, the buzz the beer and left dissipating.
Sean left.

Dominic arrived at the barbecue earlier than expected. Sean looked at him and said flatly, “You’re early.”
“Yeah I know. I have a tea date. Do you know where my beautiful hostess is?”
Sean went to say something but was cut off by the stampede of small feet coming down the stairs. He looked at her as she dragged Dominic upstairs. Dominic followed laughing. Ali stopped at the top of the stairs and looked at her father. “We’re having tea and we have ‘portan’ things to di’uss so leave us alone!”
Dominic raised his eyebrows at Sean in amusement and followed her. Sean stalked into the kitchen growling and looked at Christine. “Since when did Ali love Dominic more than me?”
“Since you liked him more than me.”
Sean blinked. “What the hell Christine?”
She laughed and smiled at him, shaking her head. “Nothing, Sean. But just know, if you wanted me to…I’d share you.”
She walked out of the kitchen leaving Sean to pick up his jaw from the floor.

Ali bounded around the barbecue pulling Dominic behind her showing off her ‘fiancée.’ Orlando clapped Dominic on the back and gave a heavy sigh. “I never thought that you’d be the first to get married…”
“I’m not, I’m the first to get engaged. I have a good 20 years before I can marry my beautiful future wife thankyouverymuch.”
Billy came up and poked Dominic in the chest with mock anger. “You stole my woman!”
Dominic grinned and winked at Billy. “I didn’t steal her! She picked me!”
Ali stared at them, wide-eyed and put a hand over her mouth. She clamored up into Orlandos’ arms. “Orli! Uh-oh!”
He laughed and kissed her on the forehead. “It’ll be okay. Let’s watch and see the old man lose.”
She giggled as Dominic and Billy went through the act as if they actually were fighting over her. She hugged Orlando and hid her face. Elijah and Viggo were in hysterics as Billy told Dominic he sucked at playing house and Dominic gaped like a fish. Only to retort that he could handle the naked Barbie Woodstock invasion better than Billy ever could.
Sean came out. And stared at the spectacle. “What are these two going on about?”
Ali looked at her father and everything came out in one big breath. “I’mengagedtoDominicandthey’refightingoverme!”
Sean arched an eyebrow and took her from Orlando. “Now what’s this? You’re engaged?”
She nodded and giggled. “To Dommie!”
He smiled and kissed her forehead and looked at Dominic. “You really love him?”
She nodded.
“You sure you want to marry him? He’s kind of goofy looking.”
Dominic turned on Sean, wide-eyed and surprised, trying to think of a retort. Billy laughed. “That’s what I’ve been saying Sean! No one listens to me.”
Dominic turned back to Billy and dove at him.
Ali giggled and kissed her father on the cheek. “I still love you Daddy! I love you more than anyone else.” Then she added in a whisper. “I even love you more than Mommy.”
Sean laughed and kissed her forehead and hugged her, Watching the idiots fight. In the end Dominic won and his prize? “The most beautiful little girl in the world is officially mine!”
He stuck his tongue out at Billy defiantly and sat down, stroking her curls and letting her finger the washer around his neck.

Sean watched as Dominic tucked Ali into her bed and she kissed him on the cheek before cuddling the teddy bear he’d given her and falling into a peaceful sleep. Dominic turned and looked at Sean. “Hey…done hating me?”
Sean winced. “I never hated you…I was jealous. After all she is my baby girl.”
“I’d never take her from you. She loves you more than anything Sean and I love her too much to hurt her. You know that.”
Sean nodded and let Dominic wrap his arms around him. Sean finally relented after several minutes when it was obvious Dominic wasn’t going to let go and hugged him back. Dominic grinned and pressed another kiss on Seans’ cheek. Sean smiled and kissed Dominics’ cheek. Dominic pulled Sean out of the room quietly and pressed him up against the wall in the hallway.
“You’re wife told me I could kiss you anywhere I wanted. She also said she wanted to watch me do dirty things to you. I think she’s a perv.”
Sean smiled and laughed. “Yeah I think so too…I found gay boy porn on the computer that wasn’t mine!”
Dominics’ gray eyes twinkled at Sean. Sean felt his stomach flip and his knees weaken. Dominic leaned in and grazed his lips over Seans’. “Sean? Can I tell you something?”
“Yeah…what?”
“I knew from the moment I met you that I was destined to be a part of your family.”
Seans’ eyes went wide and he kissed Dominic.
