Wet Dream - Monaboyd Drabble

Wet Dream

Disclaimer - a fictional possibility of a potential conversation that might have gone something like the following.


"I had the strangest dream last night," Dom said, a slight frown crossing his features.

"Yeah?" Billy asked, as he set the steaming cup of chamomile in front of him.

"Yeah," Dom continued, staring into the swirling liquid as though hoping it could help him refocus.

"What then?" Billy asked, curious.

Dom hesitated, the barest hint of embarrassment coloring his cheeks before answering.

"I think I dreamed we were lovers," he said softly, his voice trailing off.

When at last he looked up he saw Billy smiling at him, amusement dancing behind his eyes.

"Wasn't a dream, Dom," he clarified.
