For Beizy, who is ill. Get better, honey!
Pairing: Monaboyd *sigh*
Rating: I'm no good at this...umm...PG-13
Disclaimer: The usual. I made this up in my crazy head, and wrote it for lovely Beizy. No money made, just new friends, which is far more valuable to me anyway!

Billy pulled the covers over his head, and basked in the warm dark under the heavy quilt. His sister had spent ages making it for him, and it was his second favorite Christmas gift ever. The patches were sea green and midnight blue, some velvet, some cotton gingham, and it was threaded with shimmering silver stitches. So much patience, of which Billy had little, went into making it, and it even smelled like home to him. Of clean laundry, and morning, and breakfast...

Billy felt very loved, wrapped up in his present, and the pang of loneliness he had felt for his Dominic faded a little. But only a little. And try as he might, Billy wasn't really a go-back-to-bed boy once he was awake. The thought of breakfast was more than distracting him. He peeked out from the quilt, then slid out from underneath, feeling a little more vulnerable, and a little more sad.

He rubbed the top of his short, fair hair very hard, and padded down the hall to the bathroom to splash his face, and get his bathrobe from the hook. He loved his morning/evening routines, and he missed Dom. He missed Dom making fun of his meticulous care, laying out clothes the night before, hanging everything in it's place, screwing the cap back on the toothpaste. Dom would do everything he could to get Billy to forget any or all of these details--catching Billy's ear in his teeth as he brushed his own, stroking the hard length of him through his thin pajama bottoms (Billy was always ready when Dom was near), or whispering hot, filthy suggestions against Billy's neck.

Billy actually felt tears prickling behind his eyes at these thoughts, and wondered what Dom would think of that. He tied the belt of his robe, and pondered: shower or coffee? Both would be less fun without Dom, so he decided on coffee first, to warm up. Maybe even carry it back to bed with some toast, get back under the big, snuggly quilt, and pine away like a girl for awhile. He had nothing else planned, and then that pathetic thought made him smile.

And he was still smiling down the steps, when the rich smell of coffee reached him. Surely he hadn't left the pot on! No, no, he would never do that. He hurried, then, to the kitchen, and found Dominic. His Dominic. Supposed to be miles away, visiting his mum and dad for the holiday. Here he was, in Billy's kitchen, fixing porridge, and coffee, and whole wheat toast.

Billy caught Dom up in his arms, loving the feel of his biceps under his searching fingers, as he moved his hands under Dom's t-shirt. His lips sought Dom's, and he loved the electricity of their morning stubble coming together, loved the lush, hot feel of Dom's tongue against his own, and when they broke apart he sighed.

"I missed you," Dom said simply.

"Let's have breakfast in bed," was Billy's reply.

"And lunch..."

*le sigh*

I love it. You're quite good at presenting an image; I could picture all of this really clearly.

That part made stomach do a little flippy thing. I'm such a dork. *laugh* Really good stuff, though. Write more soon.

Gosh, that was lovely! Adored the ending:

"I missed you," Dom said simply.

"Let's have breakfast in bed," was Billy's reply.

"And lunch..."

What a treat to read! And I'm sure this will make your friend feel much better, too. :)

This is SO GOOD! This line had me "aww"-ing for poor Bills:

Maybe even carry it back to bed with some toast, get back under the big, snuggly quilt, and pine away like a girl for awhile. He had nothing else planned, and then that pathetic thought made him smile.

And then, this made me gasp in gleeful surprise:

He hurried, then, to the kitchen, and found Dominic. His Dominic. Supposed to be miles away, visiting his mum and dad for the holiday. Here he was, in Billy's kitchen, fixing porridge, and coffee, and whole wheat toast.

And then this last bit really made me squee!

"I missed you," Dom said simply.

"Let's have breakfast in bed," was Billy's reply.

"And lunch..."

This is so cute and happy, and I love it!! *reads again*
