Bob Anderson, swordmaster who choreographed ‘Star Wars,’ ‘Lord of the Rings’,
dies at 89.

Apologies for putting this in here, but I couldn't think of another LotR com active enough and I remember Bob being very well thought of by shippers and fans. I'll remove this after a few days if the mods would like.

Rest in peace, Bob.

I remember him to be mentioned in the extended version on the DVDs dealing with the behind the scenes.
If I remember it rightly he was a great help to Viggo Mortensen to get the fighting scenes of Aragorn right.

I'm sniffling too. From the LOTR DVD extras, he seemed like a wonderful man, full of fun but also dedicated to people's safety. The actors and stuntmen spoke of him with great affection. And let's not forget the great example he set to those who are tempted to slow down as we get older.
