Dear All, this is a little off topic. Mods, if this isn't allowed please delete.
Ok, on to my request. I am a second year photography student studying just outside of London and am doing a project entitled Imagined Communities. I have decided to document LOTR fans as we are a community held together through our interest in an imagined world.
I am looking for fans within the UK who might be willing to have their portraits taken (I will come to you) and fans both within and outside the UK who might discuss the community with me, answer a few questions etc. Also, i am aware from years on forums and livejournals that others have done projects, dissertations etc on the fandom and any help they could offer would be much apprechiated.
