Totally Addicted to Bass
Totally Addicted to Bass, DM/EW, Addiction challenge, a drabble in 100 words.
Elijah was dancing. Well, not dancing so much as thrashing sporadically to the music which thumped through the thin hotel walls.
“We should complain,” Dom hinted. Elijah ignored him.
“Lij, c’mon. Come to bed.” Dom was whining louder now, hoping that maybe Elijah hadn’t heard him over the music the first time.
For a moment the music stopped, ant there was blessed silence. Dom nearly cried when the song started over.
“Just one more,” Elijah pleaded. Dom nodded, and through Elijah’s grin he made out the words it was forming:
A word about my weakness
I’m totally addicted to bass.
