Title: Muted Tones

Pairing: Vig/Orli
Rating: pg-13
Disclaimer: they aren’t mine
Warning: Character death.
Notes: My first character death story. Never thought I'd do this to my boys but here it is. Don't kill me for killing him!
He pulled his hands back and regarded the warm wetness with confusion. It was long after; when the substance turned tacky and dark, and began to flake did he finally make the connection. Blood. Blood and Viggo. The muted sirens faded out and he barely noted that he was no longer outside. There was white and blue, no red. The thought calmed him. Someone he believed he should recognize tugged at his arm and told him to follow the man with the clipboard and closed expression. The man would take him to Viggo. Double doors folded open and there was Viggo. The first thing he noticed was that there was no blood. He stepped to his lover's side and grasped the hand that held him close that very morning. He didn't notice its chill and the fact that it was a heavy weight in his grasp. Viggo was white and blue, no red. He bent down to kiss the waiting lips. For once they did not respond to his touch. At that moment he knew why.
