Summary: After an episode of House, MD I decided that I wanted to write about an autistic character who is also a savant and plays piano. This is what resulted. Though it's been a labour of love a couple of months in the running, I did not get a formal beta and my knowledge of autism comes entirely from research, so forgive me if there are any mistakes there. As far as I know, however, autism manifests itself very differently in different cases, so I'm hoping I'm not too far off the mark.
