Until he runs into a group of people -- and one in particular -- who seem determined to convince him that it's all real after all. Urban fantasy in the tradition of Misty Lackey and Charles De Lint.

Craig struggled to focus his eyes and then just stared, sure he was dreaming or hallucinating or just wishing really hard because Alan was there, and Johnny and Orlando and Eric and Karl, and he'd been sure they were dead but they were there. It'd been so long, he couldn't imagine what they'd been doing -- maybe they hadn't known where he was, or maybe it'd taken a long time to get here, to get in. It was a palace after all and there must be, what, security? Something like that.
But they were here, they'd come for him!
