A Hidden Magic, 15/19
TITLE: A Hidden Magic, [15/19]
AUTHOR: AngiePen
FANDOM: Celebrity RPS
GENRE: Urban Fantasy
PAIRING: Craig Parker/Alan Rickman (mostly), Orlando Bloom/Eric Bana, Johnny Depp/Karl Urban
RATING: R-ish
SUMMARY: Craig was diagnosed as psychotic when he was very young and has learned to live with the reality that he sees and hears things which aren't really there -- fantastical things, magical things, dark and scary things. Until he runs into a group of people -- and one in particular -- who seem determined to convince him that it's all real after all. Urban fantasy in the tradition of Misty Lackey and Charles De Lint.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own anyone you recognize. I know nothing about their social lives or sexual activities, more's the pity. This is fiction, period. It is done as a labor of love and I make no money from it.
DEDICATION: For Anorien, just 'cause. :)
PREVIOUS PARTS: One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen
A delegation of some sort of water creature bowed low before Pelamin's throne and backed out of his presence, chorusing some sort of bubbling phrase of leave-taking as they went. Craig watched them through dull, tired eyes. He was chained to one side of the throne, the cold marble grating into his knees as though the bone rested directly on the floor, hot pain shooting through his numbing legs and up into his spine after hours (days?) kneeling while one creature after another after another stepped forward to pay homage to the king, each one brushing a delicate hand through Craig's hair or over his hunched shoulder. Pelamin granted a taste of Craig's glowing bounty to each one who joined his cause -- only a taste, but there were so many of them that the scene in the throne room swam and shimmered and Craig himself swayed with exhaustion.
