To Know - Part 8: I love you; English (8/8)
Done!
To Know - Part 8: I love you; English
Pairing: Various combinations of Orlando Bloom/Billy Boyd/Dominic
Monaghan/Elijah Wood
Rating: NC-17
Summary of Series: Wherein you'll find lots of insecurities, lots of
heartache and later on, possibly, a happy ending.
Summary of Version 2: Wherein you'll find Dalí's melting watches
and -- more importantly -- realizations. And truth.
Summary of Version 4: Wherein not everything is what it always seemed
to be, and really, that's quite alright with me. I'm not so sure about Billy,
though.

It Is - LotR RPS Page]

Re:
Actually, I think this might be my first series that I actually really like. Although that might just change in a few weeks.
I loved your clean style of writing
Incoherence rocks, yo. ::g::
the sex was good
Well, what little sex there was.
the dialogue worked
I love dialogue. It's, I think, one of the most important parts of a story for me. Of course it always depends on the story, but dialogue can make or undo a whole story for me. So i'm very conscious of that, and besides, it's the one thing that comes easiest to me when writing.
you didn't linger on anything for too long, or brush over anything too quick so that I might have missed something.
Glad I didn't do that. Overexplanation is tiring, but so is needing hours to figure everything out. When you say that the balance was right... Thank you.
Honestly, I didn't particularly like your version 4 ending.. I don't know.. it seemed a little strange. Unexpected, though,
Unexpected? Yes. It made sense to me, though. It felt just as right as Version 2, simply because, as Brenda put it "The whole time, it was about the four of them together. So it only makes sense to end it with the four of them, too."
I expected Billy to get Orlando and I was waiting for your justification of that.
You did? Really? -- Naw, I think that wouldn't have worked. Elijah and Orlando were just too much together for Billy to suddenly mess with that. Especially seeing as how he'd already accepted that as a fact, mostly.
Your version 2 ending was utterly perfect, however. Down to the oh-so-convenient lube in the drawer.
Heh. Dom the Sneaky Shit (tm). And yes, Version 2 was what most people preferred.
I like the way you write because it's visual. I can clearly see every scene you describe.
Hee! Thank you! The visual style is something I piked up only in the last half year or so. And now I embrace and love it. Yes. ::cuddles visual style::
Nice to know that Billy didn't go through all that angst for nothing. He got a happy ending.
He deserved it, the poor guy, and so did Dom.
It was well worth the wait. Thanks for your effort :)
And thank you for being so nice about said effort. ::smiles::
never thought I'd squee over a BillyCentric!Fic!!)
But, but. Why not? Bill-eeeh!
