Has been running for over a year and a half now. We currently have 17 players but are looking for a few more people to write with.

We are a reality based Lord of the Rings RPG. Meaning we’re set in the here and now... no weird alternate reality... no set in a different time frame you have to go do research for... Just dear old normal ‘real life’ that’s good and easy to write for. (And deal with!) We have weekly group chats, and, of course, regular AIM or MSN conversations, posting in character LJ’s etc… as well as the posting of more fun things on the main community board like quizzes and pictures.

We do welcome new-comers to RPG'ing, but do ask for good grammar and spelling as a minimum standard.

All you need to do if you want to join us is:

Go read the rules... not many, don’t worry!

Then simply mail me with your details. I’ll need to know:

1) Your real LJ name.
2) An AIM/MSN name to contact you through.
3) Confirmation that you've read the rules and are over 17.
4) The name of the character you want, and a second choice just in case.
5) A link to some of your fiction/writings so we can see your style and a character based LJ if you have one. Or send a bio of a few paragraphs for the character you would like if you have no writings online.

Too long to submit, really. And what a nice picture it is, I'll have that house, thanks. The little headings, and the name of the fic, come from London Calling by the almighty and magnificent group, The Clash. Also, I am proud to say all the random facts about London are entirely true. London rocks, it's fantastic. Anyone wanting to contribute towards buying me a houseboat at Chelsea is happily received.

If you're thinking you might have missed a chapter, and you usually watch for Firestorm to be posted on fellow_shippers, I messed up and forgot last week that I hadn't posted Chapter 9 here! In case you can't remember if you've already read it, the summary for Chapter 9 is: "People do strange things when they're under stress."
This is Complete Fiction, but boy would I like to have a little discussion with the two of them about this sort of thing.
