Author’s note: It's pretty rough, and I'm breaking my own rule by posting it unread by anyone else. I edited it about 4 times but it's entirely possible that it still makes no sense. Inspired loosely by the Lisa Loeb song, Falling in Love. Title, summary and one or two lines stolen blatantly from the song.

Oh, and this is for Brooke. Because she encourages me like no one else, and she’s been saying, “People need to UPDATE,” for days.
