And I'd also like to apologise in advance for this atrocity I bring before you... It is un-beta'd again (as I don't have a beta) and I know it doesn't really flow, it's sort of clumsy but I can't seem to sort it out! Any suggestions and improvements are most gratefully received!

I wrote this as inspired by this challenge and it sort of tied in nicely with one of the drabbles I posted before, so here you go, and thanks totuuli1109  and salogel42 especially, as they both commented specifically on that one.

Author's note: Just a clarification - Vikings spread through Europe and the North Atlantic from Denmark, Norway and Sweden in the period of vigorous Scandinavian expansion (AD 800-1050) which was also known as the Viking Age.

The original Druids in England were Celts and the Age of the Celts was also known as the Iron Age (600 BC - 50 AD). If you look at the timeline of the Viking Age and the Iron Age, they did not match. However religions and traditions are harder to be stamped out and I firmly believed that despite Romans’ efforts and subsequent upheavals in society, there would be a certain group of people who would secretly practice Druid beliefs.
