How can family ruin a perfectly GREAT day!

Great day? No way!

Who'd have thought spending an extended period of time at the Emissions station would be entertaining? Watching two young pups hitting on the emissions tester was definitely worth witnessing. Drama in an unexpected place. V. Slashy!

Posted "Elemental" and felt accomplished, finishing it and getting it out there.

And the best!! ladymoonray sent info about train passes and the Bean countdown is 13 until I leave!!

Family and guilt trips... "What do you mean you don't have Monday off?" "What do you mean you can't come out to see your brother before he leaves?" "What do you mean you HAVE to work,... just call in..." "YOU should come out AFTER work... because WE can't come into town..."

RIGHT!! What was I thinking? Sure, call in... it's my fucking job and I'm the only fucking one paying the bills. Sure, I "should just pop over after work..." it's only a hour AWAY... Sure, I should see my brother who won't give me the flippin' time of day...

Family, what would we do without them.

Thank heavens for friends... Our real "family", people who actually care about us, are there for us, support and encourage, can ring them up in the middle of the night.

Off to post the last piece of "Elemental" and work on the new piece.
