I told a friend that I'd do this, and since I'm letting her run this through my account here...

Join The LOTR Playground!

There's a new LOTR RPG starting up this coming Sunday (Aug. 4). It's an AU style RPG and it's going to play more like the ME Sockpuppets with actual plots and subplots.

If you're interested, you can find out more information at The Playground or contact *me* at hernameisrio@graffiti.net.

So far, the following players have been claimed: Orlando Bloom, Viggo Mortensen, Billy Boyd, Elijah Wood, Dominic Monaghan, Harry Sinclair, Karl Urban, and Craig Parker. Everyone else is up for grabs and we're still looking for potential people to play 'villains' in our little universe. After all, not everything is in shades of gray. :)

Thanks!
Rio

I watched the LotR:FotR two disc dvd last night.
My guy works at Blockbuster and he can rent pre-streets.
So, I thought I'd tell you guys. HOLY LORDY!
It has an extremely long advertisement for the four disc set and all of it is (gasp) new footage. Yeah. NEW FOOTAGE. There is gonna be a half an hour of it. AND it has the part in the book where Sam and Frodo see the elves going thru the Shire. I DIED! It also is going to have a part where Bilbo is starting to write his book. Oh god. And there is MORE Arwen screen time. Like we didn't get enough of her in theatres.
Also the dvd has a large thing on the two towers. It doesn't show anything all that great and no Treebeard. But it does have a little Orli interview (squee!) and they talk about the new characters. The narrator says "Faramir is the brother of Boromir played in the last movie by Sean Bean." Yet another 'squee' from the peanut gallery.
Thought I'd let ya'all in on the excitement a little under a week early. You all will love it and be saving yer pennies for the four disc, set to come out in November I believe.
