I recently did a half marathon walk for this campaign with my husband and about 800 other people to raise money and awareness for the charity.

Orlando is also a supporter...I encourage you all to have a look at their webstie...there are links from my LJ if you can't find then via google.

I've been involved with the ONE Campaign for about 8 months now. I found it through Bono's DATA projest. Needless to say, I was ecstatic-and very, very proud- when I found out that Orlando (and so many of my other favorite actors) was a supporter as well. Thanks for spreading the word! :)

It's a great campaign...and links into the Live8 events planned for the G8 summit, by Bono and Sir Bob Geldof.

I didn't post the origianl link...but as a long time supporter and worker at times for Oxfam, who are also linked to this one campaign (known here as 'Make Poverty History') I've been invovled since the start. It's encouraging to see so many of our lovely guys supporting it too...another reason to love them.
