Alright...Now...I just have a question...
Does anyone know where I can find good LotR AU...That has to do with these deliciously gorgeous boys in school? (college or high school)
I don't know why I am doing this...I probably need sleep or something, but...Yeah. I have a sudden craving for AU school fics and can't seem to find any. So, if you can help and point me in a direction, I would be most thankful.

No problem. It's among my favourites and I love to share fics I enjoy. I adore the characterisations in this fic (and secretly love the forbidden nature of it. Razzle used to wind me up about the number of times I used to leave comments to the nature of "OMG! *drool*" in the betad copies!

*giggles* The forbidden nature of it... Like... Because Viggo is a teacher and Orli is a student, yeah? Yeah, I think that is what draws me to the teacher/student fics...It's so forbidden, it's sexy. And the student/student fics just... Well, I just imagine whichever characters that story is particualrly about in some sort of school-boy uniform and... Well, enough said.

It's totally delicious. Yeah, Viggo would be in a lot of trouble if he were discovered.

Damn... there's a brilliant fic out there somewhere called 'Those Who Can, Teach', or something like that. It might just be 'Those Who Can'. It's not on LJ, and I tried to google but couldn't find it. I'm sure someone must know it...

It's a brilliant, somewhat crack-ficcy AU of the boys at St. Regulus, a fictional boys school in Yorkshire, in 1929. I'm awfully sorry about that! I didn't check the link, which does take you to the very first entry in the story, but doesn't allow you to progress from there.

I'd suggest poking through the calendar view of

liebevoll, starting back in 2003, where this first letter home can be found. It's likely to be a bit more organized and concentrated on Dom and Billy than its original community,

lotr_university (not to be confused with the other "lotruniversity" community that I recommended, despite the close similarity of name). However, that original community is still up and viewable, if you'd rather poke through it.

Oh, I've read that. I absolutely love it. It's one of the fic's I'm obsessed with. Like, literally, I check for undate's on that particular one like every 30 minutes. I love that one. Thanks very much though.

If your tastes run toward Orlijah, Football by Deleerium is an absolute must read. It's long and extremely well written.

Also, Fraternity by Talesinbloom is a fabulous WIP. Picture Geek!Elijah getting his organized feathers ruffled and loosened up by Fratboy lifeguard Orlando. mmmmm....

I may have to go re-read...

*laughs* Oh, well, now I KNOW we have the same taste. I have read both of those and absolutely love them. I am waiting rather impatiently for Talesinbloom to update Fraternity. And Football...Loved it! Saved it, and have read it 3+ times...
