One of the things that makes this so powerful is the idea that it could very well be happening. What was the Hollywood machine doing to Orlando even as you wrote this? It's a given they'll take his innocence and naivete, but if they can get his soul and sanity they will, and still expect more.
One can only hope the bonds created in New Zealand, which the entire cast acknowledges are exceptionally strong, will hold through this. But your story is a clever, eloquent and frankly kinda scary lament on the future if they don't.
