A Poetic Retelling of an Unfortunate Seduction

Title: A Poetic Retelling of an Unfortunate Seduction
Author: Laura -- [livejournal.com profile] silentnumbsmoke
Pairing: Implied Dom/Ian (McKellen)
Rating/Warning:  PG/PG-13
Feedback: ...makes me all warm and fuzzy inside!
Disclaimer: Aspects of this story could have happened... but this came from imagination.
Notes: Written about two months ago, in response to a challenge from [livejournal.com profile] blondiusmaximus: Dom/Ian, with the word 'Tiddlywinks.'

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] scatterbrain___ for the title (and for knowing Bright Eyes songs better than anyone else I know) and to [livejournal.com profile] hansbekhart for reading it over!

Enjoy!

"Care to join the hobbits in a ferocious game of Tiddlywinks?"

"Tiddlywinks, if I remember correctly, is a four player game, Dominic."

The young man blinked and fidgeted in the doorway of the trailer. "So?"

Ian lowered his book an inch and raised an eyebrow at the costumed Merry. "Unless Peter has made a serious change to Tolkien's story, there are four hobbits."

Dom let out a grin. "Seanwise is out finding a locksmith."

Finally setting the book down on his lap, Ian smiled, his eyes filled with laughter. "Young Elijah locked his keys in his apartment again?"

"What else? The lad's more than a tad bit absent-minded." Feeling more at ease, Dom let up on his rigid stature and leaned against the doorframe. "So, how can I convince you to join our little game?"

Silent, Ian's busy eyebrows burrowed, causing Dom to straighten again and begin nervously distributing his weight from foot to foot.

"Ian?" A moment more of staring, and Dom gulped. "Sir?"

"Close the door and lock it, Dominic."

And make some copies for me will ya?

I really like the unusual pairing. Ilove Sir Ian Slash and there's just not enough of it in the world!
