Dom/Lijah, puberty-era

sinister_light because she finished her work, and I was really bored in my last lesson.
Title: Fag Break Before French
Pairing: Dom/Elijah, Lotrips
Rating: PG-13 for smoking
Warning: Gaye, smoking, throwing of paper balls, AU
Notes: AU set in Year 11, their 16 and still in secondary. Don’t look at me like that!
Fag Break Before French
A paper ball hits him on the back of his head. Sean ignores it.
Elijah giggles in his ear.
Dom tears another page out of Lord Of The Flies and scrunches it into a little ball, and lobs it at Sean again. Elijah's in fits of giggles, with his head of his desk trying to whisper 'leave him alone, Dom', but keeps bursting into more laughter whenever he tries, so Billy says it for him.
"Dom, if you don't stop it, we'll all lose out break!" Billy says sternly.
Dom rolls his eyes, and turns his attention back to the paper on his desk. He knew that by now he should be on his third page, but all he had in front of him was a picture of Ms Tyler, naked. He scrunches this one up too and threw it at Sean, then resides himself to looking through the remainder of his book for a rude bit...and in less than a minute, he struck gold.
"Lij" A sharp jab to the American exchange-student next to him "Check this out, page 157 'I'm not going to play any longer. Not with you.' this book's practically gay porn!" And Lijah's giggling like a smurf on crack again; he was so easy!
Dom looks behind him. Billy isn’t impressed. Dom sneaks a peak; Billy was already on his fifth page.
The bell rings shrilly, and Ms Tyler calls out over the noise of chair legs scraping floor, and books being shoved into bags that they needed to finish their five pages by Monday, but Dom's already out of there, with Elijah behind him, being pulled by Dom's hand on his shirt.
Dom drags the smaller boy into the girls loos (which was closer than the boys), and tosses Lij into an empty cubicle, following him in there, he locks the door, sits on the loo, and grabs the pack of cigs from his bag.
Elijah holds out his hand for one, Dom puts one in his mouth and lit up, took a long deep drag and passes it to Elijah. Letting his breath out slowly, he grins up at his friend, who was takes his usual a shallow drag and pretending to inhale.
"We should hurry, you've got a bloody 2'500 essay to get done for history this afternoon; could skip French and do it in here?" Elijah said, looking slightly pensive
"Better yet, could always copy off Bills?" Dom said, taking the fag back out of Lijah's hand and having another drag
"Pfft, he won't let you! Could ask that Starling girl? She’s sweet on you"
"Who, Rachel, the hot one from choir? Not bloody likely, I've heard I'm not her type" He smirks, mostly at Elijah's confused face, then sees it morph into comprehension
"Dom…You ever, like, think about, well, women, but then sometimes not women, but guys" Elijah stuttered, scuffling the ground with his shoe.
Dom smirks again, then stubs out the fag on the cubicle wall and stands up, eye-to-eye with Elijah.
"Is that your coy American way of asking for a snog?"
"What?! No!!" Elijah said, a look of insincere mortification pasted on his face.
Dom steps closer, his body was touching Elijah's now, and he could hear Elijah rapid breathing, feel the thump of Elijah heart beating hard against Dom's chest. Dom raised a hand, and brushed a stray hair out of Elijah’s eyes, their lips inches away from each others
"Are you sure?" Dom whispers, hot breath waxing over Elijah, hypnotizing him

I really like this. Having only left year 11 myself, I KNOW that they would have acted like this :) I also love that Billy is the keen geeky kid in the class - that was me in year 11 :)......and now actually! :)
Also, I love the bit where Dom picks out the line and interprets it as a gay bit of the book. Heh, my friend and I used to do that. We'd read a line from LotR and then a line from HP alternately and the results were hilarious. One time, we ended up with Frodo, Sam, Ron and Harry on a bed together...!

Fag Break Before French
I was in year 11 not so long back too, and I *was* one of those Dom kids. I had to study Lord of the bloody Flies, and it bored me senseless, unless I was really immature and looked up the rude bits.
And my best mate, was the Billy type, sat behind me working studiously *grins* Damn, the more I think about it, the more I think I just Mary Sue'd this, lol!!

I tend to only write if I'm in a dull lesson, and rarely get around to publishing. I've got half-finished bits all over the place

have done bits often make great tig/tag fics, to write with another person-some how, half comes to you , and the other half is lying around in their bunnie pile..

This time I printed it out and proofed it by hand, so I think it's alright.
I have so many bits laying about just because I write new things depending on my moods, then when I'm in that mood again, I find that fic and carry on with it.
I've never really collaborated with people on fics, though I always take my inspiration from other people.
I'm quite a stubborn git, so I don't reckon I'd be too good at writing with someone, lol
