RPG Looking For New Players

lost_island is an AU RPG originally based on the idea behind the Lost TV series, but with LOTR actors. We're looking for a couple of new players. We'd love to have -

Karl Urban
David Wenham (who comes with a slight backstory)
Liv Tyler
Miranda Otto

We will also consider any other actor, even those who weren't in LOTRs. Please just ask.

You don't need any previous RPing experience but we do ask for an example of your writing, i.e. a fan fic, another RPG journal etc. You must also be dedicated in RP-ing and be able to attend at least some of the regular group chats and do regular posts in your character's journal. We are interested in players who participate actively and want to contribute ideas and suggestions to the development of the game.

Hi all,

I was sent this way by "Apprentice" a lovely lassie who did a review of one of my stories on Mirrormere. I'll be posting some links in a bit here but I am sort of interested in applying for the handling of Karl's role. I have a good bit of experience in writing, no problem with slash (as you'll see from my stories) and a lot of experience in Role-Playing. I'm on a good bit (likely more than I should be) so I shouldn't have too much trouble making the chats.

Apprentice suggested I might post some of our stories here (I use our because she mentioned the story we are currently doing Success Can Kill - a sequel to Cost of Friendship) but the bloody things are NOVELS and I hate to kill an LJ with a 30 chapter novel, without the owner's permission) so I'm officially asking permission first.

This first one is a Karl Urban/Sean Bean Story: Very Dark - 37 chapters (over 200k words): RPS - Non-Con Sex in places (appropriate warnings given per chapter) (It is on Mirrormere as well under Greymist for those who prefer to read on that format)

Yikes! I say hire sindahise for Karl! Cost of Friendship is a kickass piece of work! I'd adore to RP any other character alongside a Karl written by sindahise!

Blush, thanks... Cost of Friendship was co-written by Ara (as is Success Can Kill) but I think I can pretty much claim Karl as mine in both those stories (snick)...

He's been my baby for a long time!
