Sometimes the inevitable occurs, and two people fall into an argument no amount of love can reconcile.
Sometimes love cannot possibly bridge the gap between continents – between that emptiness of space – where two people are separated by necessity.
Sometimes I pick up the phone, listening to static at the other end of the line and that monotonous ring tone while I sit in silent contemplation, thinking of how to bridge these… spaces in between.
And then I hear your voice. Just talking. Just laughing. Talking and laughing. Just being yourself… and so I fall in love again. Just like that.
