Each time it happened he swore to himself it’d be the last. Billy had a girl back home after all and he was just some American kid still trying to figure himself out. But then amused green eyes would meet his over the edge of a pint and he was helpless, weak-kneed as a fangirl at a premiere.
Later, with Billy’s cock up his arse and his name issuing from that mouth over and over, he’d wonder what he’d done to deserve this kind of bliss. He’d wonder why Billy chose him over all the people available to him. Then any semblance of coherent thought would flee as Billy moved, sending waves of pleasure up his spine.
After, when he would come with Billy’s name on his lips and Billy would arch and empty himself, he’d lie there feeling the other man place tender kisses at the nape of his neck as he pulled him close. He knew that they next day they wouldn’t talk about it, wouldn’t even acknowledge it with a sly, secret look. It would be just as if it never happened, and that would be all he would need to produce Frodo’s distant, watery, distressed look during the long day ahead. And with Billy’s arms around him, he would fall asleep, swearing to himself that it was the last time.
