FIC: All Better (SB/VM, PG-13, 1/1)

Yesterday my beloved minion cinzia got me all angsty and then I had to go write some schmoop to make myself feel better. I blame her for what follows (which is, of course, also dedicated to her with much love and adoration). This is a sequel to "All Right" and it's just as sappy, if not more so, than the first one. I have a sinking suspicion that this may turn into a series.

This gets better and better every time I read it--the sheer intensity of Sean's feelings, turning his world upside down! I love how he's gone from 'huh?' (last night) to this intensity... it shows that the feelings have been there all along, he just never allowed himself to acknowledge their presence. And now that he does, they hit him all at once, and it's so powerful he feels *physically* jolted.

And one of the most beautiful lines ever: At the same time, he's being so fucking nice about it that you want to refute his words and tell him you were an idiot and he can have anything he wants, even the things you can't think about.

I have a sinking suspicion that this may turn into a series.

I loved the sense of working through things, the consequences of the realizations from "All Better."

And the whole paragraph that started with this line, You're not sure, but you think you're the one who finally moves across the distance that separates you, was just fab.

I didn't know how you'd manage to follow up 'All Right' - which was taut and gorgeous and just a little melancholy - but, *guh*, I think you've done it! Just as wonderful. Or more, even, because we get *this*:

Viggo is right that it seems a little fast, but his lips are warm and firm against yours and then damp and soft around them, swift and urgent, bitter with coffee and sweet with fruit.

And the moment that Viggo smiles - I think it made me almost as happy as Sean. I can feel it, just about.

They are, aren't they? *beams* I don't know where the actual pics came from (icon was a gift), but Viggo's is from Indian Runner and Sean's from Lady Chatterley.
