“You told him what?!?” Elijah looked at Billy in shock.

“That I love you,” Billy said softly, looking down at his feet. He stood on Elijah’s porch, unable to believe everything that had happened in the past day and a half.

It had started with the break up with Ali. They’d been in LA, on some business/pleasure trip, and Billy had not seen it coming. But then again he hadn’t seen himself falling in love with Dominic or screaming out his name while making love to his girlfriend.

He would never forget the look on Ali’s face once he’d come down from his high. He remembered how- for a split second- he’d thought he was with Dom. Lots of yelling pursued until Billy ended up on the doorstep of Dom’s house, his bags in his trunk and his mind in shambles.

He admitted to Dom that he loved a man and he might as well of admitted it was Dom. They slept together and… he freaked.

It hit him hard as he stared at Dom’s sleeping figure. The way his blonde locks fell, the way he looked like he couldn’t be happier. And then it hit Billy that Dom might wake up in the morning and regret everything that had happened. He couldn’t take that.

And so… he left.

And he left a note proclaiming he loved Elijah and here he was, in the only place he could think of going. Elijah’s. Of course, he’d spent over and hour driving around LA with no purpose but to clear his thoughts. After all, it had been 6 AM when he left, he couldn’t very well go to Elijah’s that early if he wanted Elijah to be happy with him.

“So… you told the man you love, that you love me?” Elijah asked, opening the door wider as a silent invitation for Billy to enter.

“Yeah,” Billy sighed, walking in and shutting the door behind him. He noticed Elijah was in his boxers and his hair was tossed with sleep. “I’m sorry, did I wake you?”

“Er… yeah,” Elijah’s face went slightly pink and his eyes darted around the hallway nervously.

Billy opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by a different voice.

A British accented voice the he never expected to hear at Elijah’s house at 7 in the morning.

“Lij, luv, who’s at the do-“ Orlando froze as he spotted Billy standing there.

Billy swallowed and took Orlando in, his boxers and messy hair. This was defiantly an awkward moment to walk in on. Though, he had to admit, it could have been much worse.

“Er… ‘ello Billy,” Orlando nodded, a blush creeping up his cheeks.

Billy noticed the scarlet tent along Elijah’s cheek. “Orli, I didn’t know you were in town.”

“Yeah,” Orlando nodded, running a hand through his hair. “It was sort of… a surprise. Did you just get in town?”

“No,” Billy shook his head, sighing softly.

Orlando and Elijah exchanged glances before both headed into the kitchen, offering Billy some tea. An hour later, Billy was in the shower and Orlando and Elijah where left to think about the story Billy had shared with them.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

After Dom was sure he’d read the note enough times he could copy it perfectly in his sleep, he picked up the phone and dialed the only person he could think of.

“Dominic, you better have a damn good reason for calling her so damn early,” Michele’s less-than-cheerful voice filled the phone.

Dom grimaced, realizing he forgot all about the time differences and such. “Oops, sorry luv… I forgot!”

“Why you called?” Michele growled.

“No! About the time difference… I just… my brain’s a little rattled,” Dom mumbled, feeling the tears press hard at his eyes.

A rustling sounded followed by a faint, “Who is it luv?”

“It’s Dom hunny, don’t worry about it, go back to bed,” Michele’s voice sounded comforting and Dom immediately knew she could tell something was wrong. That was the good thing about Michele, she always knew. It also didn’t hurt that he was sensitive about the time differences and wouldn’t call this late normally. “So what is it? What’s wrong?” Michele asked.

Dom sighed, already feeling comforted by his best friend’s voice. Slowly, Dom explained what happened and how much it hurt. “You know… I just… he was so close to admitting it and when he asked me to kiss him I thought that was it. That was his way of confessing. He sure kissed like someone who wanted someone… me… but… damn Mic… why do I let him get to me like this? I can’t take it anymore!”

Michele sighed, “Dom, where is Billy now?”

“I don’t know. Probably at Elijah’s.” Dom spat, making Elijah’s name sound like venom as it left his lips.

“Why don’t you go over there and work this out. You’ve been hiding your emotions from him for too long,” Michele stated. “He needs to know. Maybe you will find out this is all one big mistake.”

Dom sighed, knowing Michele was right. “Okay, thanks Mic. Sorry again for waking you up, say his to Kyle for me.”

“I will luv, let me know how it all works out okay?”

“I will, night.” Dom tossed the phone on its cradle before grabbing his keys, forgetting his shoes, and heading out the door.

Dom debated on ringing the doorbell or just barging in. In the end, barging in wins by turning into sneaking it. He would rather catch Billy and Elijah in the middle of… something… so he could quietly sneak out, then to ring the door bell and have to look at Elijah’s kiss swollen lips or something along those lines.

Lucky for Dom, the door is unlocked, so he can easily slip inside. He already knows Billy’s here; his car is sitting in the driveway, just hammering at what seems to be left of Dom’s heart. How could Billy just go from making love, or fucking as it tended to be, with Dom to being with Elijah in whatever way he was?

Dom looked down at his wrist and snapped the rubber band there. It was a habit he’d picked up from Michele when she was going through her depression days. Snapping the rubber band was supposed to somehow calm your nerves. It nearly always worked for Dom, except now apparently.

The door made no sound as Dom pushed it open, slipping in and leaving it a crack open so he could easily dart out. He made his way towards Elijah’s kitchen, where he thought he hear faint moaning, and froze in the door way.

There was Elijah’s his arms wrapped around a slightly taller man with dark brown hair. That was not Billy that was… “Orlando?” He asked aloud.

Elijah and Orlando shot apart, turning quickly to Dom. Both their lips where swollen and their hair ruffled, and they both wore boxers.

Dom had never been one to enjoy or even want to smoke. But at this moment in time, he sure felt like he could use a cigarette. Nervously, he snapped at his rubber band. “What the hell is going on?”

Elijah opened his mouth to respond, but suddenly Billy’s voice sounded behind Elijah and Orlando. “You guys don’t happen to have any- Dom!” Billy froze, Orlando and Elijah whirling around to the other entrance of the kitchen where Billy entered in his boxers, his hair soaking wet.

Dom’s jaw dropped, taking in the three of them in the boxers. “What the hell?!? Okay, I’m lost.”

All three men looked at each other, not daring to meet Dom’s eyes. Dom looked at them one at a time, his mind actually starting to hurt from trying to take this all in.

“I’m outta here,” He finally spoke, spinning around and making a quick exit of the house.

“Dom! Wait!” Billy ran after him, stopping as he got outside and Dom opened the front door of his car, pausing.

“Why should I wait for you Billy? I’ve been waiting for you since I met you and you know what, that got me nowhere!” Dom spat, his eyes once again brimming with tears.

Billy froze as he took in what Dom meant. Leaving that morning had been a big mistake. “Dom I-“

“I don’t want to hear it,” Dom shook his head. “I am so fuckin’ tired of getting hurt by you! I… I can’t take it anymore okay? So make up your mind now. You either love me and want to be with me or you don’t. I won’t sit on the fence and wait any longer.”

Billy slowly walked forward, stopping when his body was mere inches from Dom’s. “I love you. I’m sorry I left. I freaked out. I shouldn’t have… I just… I was so afraid you would regret what we did. I couldn’t take that…”

Dom searched Billy’s eyes, his tongue coming out and licking his lips. Then Billy’s lips where on his own, their tongues dancing together. Dom moaned and wrapped his arms around Billy, bringing him closer then before, lavishing the feel of him.

This was heaven. And now he knew he no longer had to wait.

THE END.
