You know how it is when you’re at work and your mind wanders….
Reunion
Last month’s photograph revealed Sean sun bleached. A tan, toned arm slung about Orli’s shoulders.
In consequence, Viggo had been expecting blonde hair. He’d thought that green eyes would be intensified by flaxen strands falling just so.
Sean, in fact, was darker. He looked fatigued. His eyes seemed older and Viggo could not meet them. He closed his own and Sean’s voice washed over him. The same languid tones infused with subtle insistence - and yet an entreaty – to believe.
Though his body and soul clamoured to respond Viggo made no answer.
