shardsofnarsil desperately needs a few people.

First of all, we need someone to fill the role that Sean Bean had at the beginning of the game. He was a scholar-priest, as well as Viggo's best friend since childhood. We would prefer a Sean Bean for this role, but we haven't had one for several months, so we will accept any LotR or LotR related actor who could fill the part.

Second, we need a Craig Parker. Craig is a healer-mage with druidic-type tendencies. He's also paired with David Wenham.


Setting: Shards of Narsil is set in an AU Medieval type world, sort of a Sword and Sourcery setting if you will. Pups are magick-wielders, knights, thieves, etc. They can even be supernatural creatures as long as they have a human form. We have a half-elf and a dragon at the moment.

PlotThe pups are on a quest to save the world from the Evil Thing that's threatening it. They are guided by a prophecy, but that does not mean that everything is easy. They are threatened by both supernatural and mundane forces.

When a shadow falls across the rising sun, know that the time is near. Forces shall gather as the Twins play. Beware Strife; she will be the downfall of all. Search for the path amongst the Lessons of the Past; forgotten secrets hold the Key. The Sand runs through the Hourglass; Fates shall be revealed ere the sixth disappearance of the lady of the night.

This is a small part of the prophesy that governs the fates of all. It is the only part that has not been lost to time and it is generally disregarded as the ramblings of a madman and held to be of little concequence. But now, the prophesy is coming true. The time has come to find the rest of it. It is imperative that it's secrets be revealed. The fate of the world depends on it...

Who we want: Specifically, we're looking for people to fill the two roles listed above (Sean Bean and Craig Parker). We would like to fill the roles recently vacated by Cate Blanchette and Billy Boyd. We would also love more women and we'd like anyone else in LotR or linked to LotR.
