Orlando blushed deeply at Craig's words, pressing his face into the man's neck, hardly able to draw breath now he was so wrapped up in all of the emotions and sensations.

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig smiled at the blush his words had produced, and blinked a little as Orli hid. Craig was unused to being this way, this close to someone in bed. Sex for him had never had this quality, this tinge before, this feeling of true completion, of utter rightness. And being this intimate too was not a thing he'd experienced either. He moved still inside Orli, softer now, just to calm him down, nudging his face, nuzzling, trying to get him to lift his head up. "Hey...no hiding on me."

_+_+_+_+_+

Orlando giggled softly, finally moving again so that Craig could see his face and the slight blush that was still there. "I'm not hiding, I was just..." He laughed again softly. "Hiding...yeah..." Pulling Craig closer, he kissed him deeply, hands moving down his back. "This moment, this is perfect...."

_+_+_+_+_+

"No...it's better than perfect." Craig stilled himself, still staying inside Orli as he came down from the high, one hand moving to cup Orli's face gently, taking in the sight of him like this, hoping he could just be good enough to see Orli's face like this again, hopefully many times. "I've never had a moment like this before. Never."

_+_+_+_+_+

Leaning into the touch rather like a cat, Orlando's eyes slid closed and he sighed happily--though they opened again at Craig's words. He looked at the man long and hard for a few moments, fingers trailing over his lips. "Really?" It touched Orli and yet it made him sad at the same time. He raised his head a bit to kiss where his fingers had just touched. "I want it to always be like this."

_+_+_+_+_+

"Mmmmmm." Craig sighed, finally pulling out of Orli, whimpering at the loss of warmth as he lay down on the bed by Orli's side. He hesitated for a moment before putting his arm around his waist, pulling their two bodies into alignment, finding himself quite liking this cuddling, never really having the opportunity to do much of it before. "I think I'm starting to like this, this closeness. You know, cuddling and things like that."

_+_+_+_+_+

"I've always enjoyed cuddling, even just with mates. I guess it's because I like touching so much, and being touched--just being close," Orlando responded, snuggling in close when Craig pulled him close, sighing softly, happily. "I like how your arms feel around me. This...is what I've wanted..."

_+_+_+_+_+

"I've just never had the opportunity to..." A broad grin filled his face, looking into Orli's face. "...to snuggle much." He shifted his arms a little, tried to relax more. "I hope, well, I hope this is okay...I'm not really used to all this." Craig's eyes showing his vulnerable side a bit more than he liked. But he didn't want to hide with Orli.

_+_+_+_+_+

Reaching out, Orlando stroked Craig's face, then over his lips--memorizing his face, just enjoying the contact. "This is fine, it's perfect.' Leaning forward, he kissed Craig's lips softly--the barest of touches. Orli could see the vulnerability in Craig's eyes and he was grateful to be shown that side of the man.

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig sighed as the fingers traced his skin, murmured into the kiss. He felt so good. So much more better than his usual after sex glow. This was different, this had been love making, not just fucking. This had been tender and warm and caring, and all the things Craig had never allowed himself to feel before, all the things he never thought anyone would feel about him. "Yes...perfect." He replied, trying to stifle a yawn, eyes fluttering.

_+_+_+_+_+

Orlando was anything but tired now, still tracing Craig's face. When his lover yawned, he smiled softly. "Sleep now...I'll make sure we're up in time." Kissing Craig again deeply, he pressed closer, nuzzling his neck.

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig found himself nodding off slightly even as Orli talked, he roused himself long enough to murmur "Thanks...g-night...again." before his lids slid closed, and he sank into a dreamless, sated sleep.

_+_+_+_+_+

Sleep did not claim Orlando, so he stayed awake as he had said he would, watching Craig--touching him lightly, not wanting to disturb his lover, but unable to resist. It still didn't feel quite real. He was exhausted, yet he would not sleep, Orli knew that. Leaning forward, he kissed Craig's forehead, then slipped out of bed to use the loo, and get something to drink.

_+_+_+_+_+

Gradually Craig woke up, mind not really with it much. So used to being alone he stretched out in the bed, looking at the daylight streaming in through the large glass plate windows. He sighed and turned to look at the clock. Thinking he had twenty minutes or so before his alarm went off he closed his eyes, still spread out like a starfish in the middle of the bed and slipped into sleep state again, not even remembering yesterday, or that Orli was there with him.

_+_+_+_+_+

Orlando came back to the bed not long before time to wake Craig up, watching him sleep for a few moments before finally reaching out and shaking him gently--kissing Craig's lips lightly. "Wake up..."

_+_+_+_+_+

"Hmm...?" Craig awoke, startled a little, totally unused to anyone seeing him wake, mind trying to get back into focus, dragging it out of the depths of sleep. "Ohh...Orli?" He brought one hand up to rub an eye socket, face scrunched, mouth pouting slightly.

_+_+_+_+_+

Orlando felt a bit of disappointment at the look on Craig's face, as if he was unhappy to find him here. He stood up again, nodding a bit. "Yes, it's Orli. But it's time to get up though, or we'll be late for call. I wanted to give you enough time to shower."

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig sat bolt upright at the voice, broad smile appearing on his face, kneeling up on the bed to look at Orli, hands reaching out to touch him as if in misbelief, wanting to make sure this wasn't still a dream. "Orli...you, you stayed...still here... Wow! You...with me and...umm...wow!"

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig's response made Orlando feel a little better and he stepped closer, sliding his arms around Craig's neck. "Yes...why wouldn't I have stayed? I thought you wanted me to?"

_+_+_+_+_+

"No....nonono...I did I just..." Craig found himself almost deliriously happy to find Orli still here, He'd never had anyone think he was worth it before, no-one had even offered to stay before, no-one thinking Craig was worth the effort. "Just no one's actually..." He slipped his arms around Orli's hips, head buried against the man's chest, gripping probably tighter than he should have. "No-one's actually...stayed before."

_+_+_+_+_+

Stroking Craig's hair, Orlando smiled softly, leaning forward to kiss the top of his head. "I've wanted to stay since you first brought me here. I'm not going anywhere unless you send me away." Sitting down, Orlando shifted a bit, pulling Craig closer into his arms and just cradling him for a moment.

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig just smiled to himself, feeling stupidly happy, emotions all way too close to the surface, knowing if he thought to much about this it would all just well out. His toes curled up slightly, feeling good cradled in Orli's arms. This was something completely new to him, just holding on and being held. "Not sending you anywhere." He mumbled, not caring if he sounded like a petulant 5 year old.

_+_+_+_+_+

"Well, good then, we're in agreement," Orlando stated. Finally though, he pulled away from Craig, tugging him up. "You need to shower, I already have." Kissing his lips again, he nibbled at Craig's for a moment, then smiled. "Okay?"

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig just smiled and nodded, running a hand through his hair, rumpling it up even more than it already was. Yawning and stretching he reached out to wrap his arms around Orli's neck, kissing his lips once, cheekily, before running off into the bathroom.

_+_+_+_+_+

Watching Craig go, Orlando got up and headed downstairs, rummaging around for something for 'breakfast'. There wasn't that much in the apartment, but he finally found something and put on some coffee as well.

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig washed, brushed, scrubbed, primped and dressed without once losing the inane grin from his face. He walked down the open bleached wood stairs, grinning at the sight of Orli pouring out two mugs of coffee. "Now that's a sight I could get used to seeing more often!"

_+_+_+_+_+

"What? A house boy making your breakfast and cleaning your house?" Orlando teased him, holding out a cup of coffee to Craig, kissing him lightly. "Or were you referring to something else?"

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig blew on the coffee a little, catching a glance at the clock, seeing they had ten minutes before he had to leave he ushered Orli out onto the balcony, sun steaming down onto them. "Though the house boy part has merit...I think just you in general really." He leant back against the railing, sipping his coffee. "I think I could get used to seeing a whole lot more of you in my apartment."

_+_+_+_+_+

"Well if that's an invitation, it's one I'm more than willing to take you up on," Orlando said, sipping his own coffee and looking out, enjoying the view as he rested his elbows on the railing. This felt so...domesticated. He wondered how Craig felt about it.

Did it really feel as strange to Craig as it did to Orli? Strange, definitely, but wonderful. Peaceful. Right. It felt so right.

_+_+_+_+_+

"I...Yeah...I guess it is an invitation." This was more than strange to Craig. He felt jittery inside, and nothing quite fit yet. He had no real idea how being a part of a couple worked, no idea of compromise or adjustments he was going to have to make to fit Orlando into his life, to become a part of Orli's life. But he did know that he wanted to try as hard as he could to get this to work, to try to keep a hold of the feelings Orli made him have, for as long as possible. "And I mean it...I really do." His eyes met Orli's deep brown ones, seeing the golden highlights flicker in the sunlight.

_+_+_+_+_+

"I believe you," Orlando said quietly, closing the bit of distance between them and touching Craig's face. "I do." It felt important to Orli to assure Craig of that, he seemed so uncertain, as if Orlando wouldn't believe a word he said. "Craig...you hurt me before, but it wasn't by lying to me. You've never lied to me that I'm aware of. I'll believe you if you say something to me until you give me reason not to, alright?" Orli smiled softly, letting his fingers move from Craig's face to his lips, trailing for a moment before letting his hand fall and sipping his coffee. "Okay?"

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig nodded, unknown emotions welling inside of him, butterflies forming though he wasn't really nervous. "Okay. I've never lied to you Orli, I promise you that...and I hope I never will. I hope..." He took a sip of his drink, clearing his mind a little. "I hope I can live up to your expectations." He lifted one shoulder a little, as if in apology. "I've never done anything like this, dated anyone, let anybody be this close to me. Never let anyone see me...this fragile, this open." He took a hold of Orli's spare hand, thumb rubbing over the back of it, "But I want to try with you...I want to succeed with you."

_+_+_+_+_+

Orlando almost felt guilty, like Craig was doing too much because he thought that it was what Orlando wanted. Squeezing the hand rubbing against his, Orlando sat his cup down and lifted Craig's chin. "As long as it's what you want too, and you're not just doing it because you think it's what I want. This has to be what you want to, what you want to do, to be...or it won't work."

_+_+_+_+_+

"No...oh, no...it is what I want." Craig set his mug down on the railing edge and moved his other hand to Orli's waist, eyes looking into Orli's eyes, emotions showing. "I just, I'm not sure...what to do. I want it to work, I don't want to screw it up...I just..." He shrugged again, "I don't want to hurt you again...I'm sorry I ever did."

_+_+_+_+_+

"You've said 'I'm sorry' enough, no more okay?" Orlando smiled softly, pressing closer to Craig. "Just let it happen, be yourself--the rest will fall into place..." At least Orlando hoped so... "Just trust yourself, and trust me." Kissing Craig deeply for a moment, Orlando finally had to pull back, looking regretful. "Right now though, we must go--before we are late getting on set...."

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig nodded as Orli told him to stop saying he was sorry, smiled deeply as he felt Orli's firm, muscled body up against him and moaned briefly into the kiss, breathing a little fast as Orli pulled away. "Yes, the set calls. But I just...I wanted to ask you something. I've been thinking about this since our talk at breakfast." He took another calming breath, tried to still his fluttering heart as he asked Orli something he'd never asked anyone before. "I want to ask you...if you'll go out with me. On a date. Tonight."

_+_+_+_+_+

Orlando cocked his head to the side a bit when Craig said he wanted to ask him something, not sure if this was going to be good or bad with how nervous and hesitant the other man seemed. And when Craig did ask...well, it seemed almost absurd, comical, except for the look on Craig's face and in his eyes when he asked. With a slight blush, Orlando smiled, brushing the back of his hand along Craig's face. "Yes, I'll go out with you, on a date."

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig grinned, and couldn't even think about not grinning just now. Some small part of his mind thought he was stupid, that he'd never dated because no one ever wanted him. Another part of him thought that he was way to old to even be trying a first date. But most of his mind, the better part, was just deliriously happy, especially at Orli's blush, at the touch of his hand which had Craig leaning in gently, and he missed it the moment it passed. And he grinned, confidence slipping back in place.

_+_+_+_+_+

Letting his hand drop to Craig's, Orlando squeezed it gently, then gave it a tug. He gave Craig one of his biggest smiles, a genuine smile. "Come on now, a date tonight--or in the morning, or whatever you want to call it, but first--we must work." Giving Craig one last kiss, Orlando headed back inside--grabbing both of their mugs and putting them in the sink after washing them out.

_+_+_+_+_+

Craig picked up his mail, some script re-writes and a bill he put on the side for later. He waited by the door, leaning on it, smiling, till Orli was ready, reaching out to take his hand, finding out he quite liked the feel of doing this. "Lets go face the rain together!" he opened the door, walked them both through it and shut it fast behind them.
