Title: A farewell Ficlet

Summary: All good things must come to an end.
Note: This is my way of saying good bye to the fandom properly.

As Dominic sat him down to talk Elijah told himself that no matter what he was about to hear 
he would keep his cool and take it like a man. But he never expected a break-up to be so 
much like death. The things they had done together ran by his eyes like a movie and it was 
painful, so painful he almost wished he *was* dead. It wasn't about being a man now, it 
wasn't about keeping your cool, it was about losing the only man you had ever loved and 
losing a piece of your life. Elijah didn't care how he looked as he cried and allowed 
Dominic to hold him through it. Elijah clung to him as though Dominic was his lifeline and 
he *was* in so many ways. They had stuck together through thick and thin, but Dominic needed 
to move on from something that had become nothing more than a habit- a security he wanted to 
keep. But it had been dishonest. In the end Elijah knew that love must leave and all good 
things must come to an end.
