When it rains, Dom feels unhappy. But it’s not raining, it’s a beautiful day; the sun shining in a seemingly endless blue sky, no whisper of a cloud and it’s not too hot, not too cool.

The sky looks more than familiar, because it’s not just the sky today. Today it’s a reminder of what he’s left behind. It’s the exact same colour, same shade, the same intensity, the same depth of blue as Elijah’s eyes. The sky is the colour of Elijah’s eyes, but the hue in Dom’s memory is brighter, because the last time he saw those eyes they were burning with hurt and shining with tears.

Dom feels like it’s raining.
