Final part!

This is the final part of my Realization-series. It's Dom/Elijah. The reason why I'm reposting them all is because I'd like to ask you who have read it, and you who are about to, a favour. I’d really appreciate if you could pick a favourite line out of these chapters because I am curious about what you guys like the most. It would mean a lot to me.

This series is angsty and it's rated PG or something. I suck at rating, we all know that. =P
This is NOT true. As if you didn't know that already. ;)
Feedback makes me orgasm.

This series is dedicated to Hanna. Thanks to Lauren, Lise and Christie. And thanks to everyone who helped me with the last line. <3

Title: "I want tongue!"
Pairing: Dominic / Elijah, implied Billy/Ali (It's tiny! Like one sentence!)
Summary: "What’s wrong, Lijah? You don’t find me attractive?” Dom teased. Their eyes met and Elijah felt himself relax as he saw Dominic’s eyes sparkle with… what was it? Laughter? No, something else, something new that Elijah couldn’t quite recognize.

They shared a small peck, and then Elijah pulled back and looked at Billy.

“Yeah, my turn,” he said.

“Ha! No way, Monkey-boy, that doesn’t count as a kiss!” Billy interrupted, looking annoyed. “I want tongue!” he stuck his own tongue out, wiggling it a bit, to illustrate that he was serious. Ali let out a giggle and whispered something in his ear, which made him smile like an idiot.

Elijah looked back at Dominic, who was drinking his beer in slow gulps, and started biting on his already way too short thumbnail.

“It’s not like you guys haven’t kissed before!” Orlando piped up from his spot on the floor.

“What’s wrong, Lijah? You don’t find me attractive?” Dom teased. Their eyes met and Elijah felt himself relax as he saw Dominic’s eyes sparkle with… what was it? Laughter? No, something else, something new that Elijah couldn’t quite recognize.

Realising he was defeated, Elijah lent towards Dom, allowing him to take the next step. Dom ran his tongue over his lips and then pressed them against Elijah’s. Parting them slowly, he ran his tongue over Elijah’s teeth. Elijah parted his teeth and their tongues met.

It was… different. Not like kissing a girl at all, but Elijah suddenly realised that he didn’t know if that was a good or a bad thing. He melted into Dominic’s touch and it felt completely natural when his left hand caressed Dom’s ear before resting on his cheek.

“Mmm,” he thought and it wasn’t until he felt Dom’s lips curl into a smile that it hit him. He was enjoying this way too much and the moan hadn’t been all that discreet. He abruptly pulled back and felt the blush rise to his cheeks as the room fell very quiet. Everyone’s eyes, including Dominic’s glistening ones, were on him.

Smiling uneasy, he racked his mind for something clever to say, but he couldn’t come up with anything, which led to him looking slightly retarded sitting there, mouth half-open.

“I have to pee.” It was a bad lie; he had been to the toilet just half an hour ago, but he desperately needed to get out of the room. Standing up, he left with such a speed that he stumbled over Viggo’s feet and had to run out of the room to prevent himself from falling flat on his stomach.

Once he got outside he took a few deep breaths and then looked at his own reflection in the small window right beside the door. His frame was slightly blurry, but his blue eyes shone in the sunset.

In them he saw the same thing he had seen in Dominic’s stormy grey ones the second before they kissed.

What the fuck was going on?

Title: What was that all about?
Summary: "Dominic felt slightly dazed; he could still feel Elijah’s lips on his own. Running his tongue over them once more before answering, he tried to feel the taste again. He closed his eyes and shrugged."
AN: Kinda short. Sorry 'bout that.

“What was that all about?” Orlando’s question was a mixture of curiosity and confusion.

Dominic felt slightly dazed; he could still feel Elijah’s lips on his own. Running his tongue over them once more before answering, he tried to feel the taste again. He closed his eyes and shrugged.

“Have no idea.” He lied. “Going to go talk to him now.” He got up, and followed Elijah’s way out, except he didn’t trip over Viggo who had thoughtfully moved his legs out of the way.

Dom knew damn well what it was all about. He had just made Elijah understand. He had said it several times, how much he enjoyed woman. Dominic just always managed to leave out the fact that he liked men just as much. Men in general, Elijah in particular.

He hadn’t told anyone about Elijah but he suspected that Billy knew because it was... ya know, Billy and he was Dom and it would be perfectly normal for Billy to know stuff about Dom even though he didn’t say it. Hell, sometimes Billy realised things about him before he did it himself; that was just how Billy was.

He found Elijah on the beach, right next to the house. The sun was setting and the ocean had turned from bright blue to a mixture of yellow, pink and red and the colours reflected in Elijah’s face.

Being the good actor he was, Elijah seemed perfectly normal, but his insides were going mental; kicking and screaming. He seemed to be lost in the beautiful view; he didn’t turn even though Dom cleared his throat before settling down next to him in the sand.

“Hey,” he softly said.

“Hey.”

“I… um… Everything ok?” Dom said, trying to sound as casual as possible.

It took some time before Elijah responded. “No, not really. Could you just leave me alone for a while?”

This, not being the answer Dom had expected or hoped for, made him speechless for a minute, then he simply nodded and returned to the house, leaving Elijah looking ever so vulnerable on the beach.

Title: Pleasure from pressure
Summary: "C’mon baby be mine now
You’re an amazing miracle to me
And I know you want me
So just let it happen."
AN:Lyrics from the band Paris, song named "During the conversation".

During the conversation
A feeling I never felt before
Came over me without warning
I just wanted to touch you
Couldn’t stop to look into your eyes
No logical thinking, I just let it happen

Oh, I just let it happen
Oh, c’mon let it happen

C’mon baby be mine now
You’re an amazing miracle to me
And I know you want me
So just let it happen
You looked right at me
And you knocked me off my feet
How did you do it?
I just don’t get it

Oh, I just let it happen
C’mon let it happen

They were at the same event, and Elijah had done his best to avoid him so far. Every time their eyes connected across the room he looked away. After two hours of getting ignored like this, Dom had had enough. He walked through the crowds of partying people, grabbed Elijah’s arm (not very gently) and led them to a more private spot right next to the stairs.

“Well?”

Elijah did his best to look innocent. “What?”

The next thing he knew, he was getting pressed up against the wall, Dom’s mouth only inches from his own. He closed his eyes and remembered, and when Dom kissed him after what felt like years, it didn’t take him long to respond. Even though it seemed impossible, Dom took a step closer to Elijah and deepened their kiss. Elijah, who was sandwiched between Dominic and the wall, relaxed completely and felt nothing but Dom’s touch. He could feel that Dom was getting hard against his leg, and was pretty sure that he was too. Dom’s mouth left his and kissed it’s way to his neck where he started sucking and biting gently.

He moaned helplessly and tugged at Dom’s hair. Not being able to control himself, he started grinding against Dominic’s leg, and moaned with pleasure from the pressure.

“Oh God, I need you,” Dom whispered against his ear.

“What will they say, Dom?”

Dominic immediately stopped and looked at him.

When he said ‘they’ he meant their friends, the press, the fans, their family’s, well the whole world actually. He didn’t have to say it out loud though; he could see that Dom understood whom he meant.

Dom just stood there and looked him for a while before opening his mouth.

“If you can’t be true to yourself because of what they think, then you’re not the Elijah that I know.” Hurt and anger mixed in his voice as well as his face, as Dominic turned around and left Elijah who slid down to the floor, legs too weak to support him.

Title: "The nicotine had its calming effect"
Summary: "If you’re still there you can come up."
AN: Would like to thank Lauren and Christie for their help when my brain stopped functioning. If this whole buzzing-calling-thing is confusing, please let me know. And if that's not the way it works for real in LA, then I'm sorry but being from Sweden I have no idea. And it had to be like this or it wouldn't work. =P There.

Elijah banged his head into the wall for what seemed like the millionth time that night. He was still sitting right where Dom had left him, head spinning, breathing unsteady, nervously gnawing at his fingernails. The scene played over and over in his head but what it always came back to was the kiss and the feeling of Dom’s body pressed up against his own.

He rubbed his face and felt the wetness on his cheeks. This surprised him – he hadn’t realized that he had been crying.

Memories washed over him, images, feelings, quotes…

The day they had gone hunting, all the premieres they had been to and how Dom’s face always lit up whenever Elijah was mentioned. All he drunken phone-calls, the time they peed in the fountain and when they had a drinking contest, all the videogames they had played and of course all the memories from when Dominic had lived with him after they finished filming.

Realization hit him and he scrambled to his feet and followed Dom’s path out of the building. Being pretty sure that Dom had gone home (something he usually did when he got angry) he made his way down the unusually quiet Los Angeles-streets. It must’ve been later then he had thought, the streets were almost empty. When he finally got to Dom’s apartment building he was out of breath. He had used to know which buttons to press to get in but it had been a while since he had been there. Getting nauseous with nervousness he quickly lit a cigarette and inhaled deeply. The nicotine had its calming effect and after finishing it he pressed the button next to Dom’s name.

“Yes?” Dominic’s voice was stern and so very British and Elijah’s heart started pounding faster. He closed his eyes and told himself that he was not going to get all emotional because of Dom’s accent.

“Yea, it’s me. I… Could you please let me in?”

“I’d rather not.” -Click-

Dominic turned restlessly in his soft bed. He looked at the clock and realized that what had felt like an hour had actually only been about 7 minutes. It had been a little over an hour since Elijah had buzzed. He figured that since he wasn’t getting any sleep anyways, he might as well just do what he had been debating whether to do or not in his head for the last hour.

He picked up the phone, pressed the speaker-button and said,

“If you’re still there you can come up.”

He hung up before he could change his mind and kept telling himself that Elijah had gone home long ago.

*

Elijah grabbed the doorknob just before the door automatically locked again. He had been getting to his feet, about to give up and go home and if he wouldn’t have looked back and spotted his cigarette pack on the ground he would have missed Dom’s quiet voice. He stood silently in the elevator, watching the red numbers ticking away. He had no idea what was going to happen, but the fact that Dom had changed his mind had to be a good thing.

Right?

Title: "Three small steps"
Summary: Will they work it out?
AN: Once again; thanks to everybody who helped me with the last line. <3

The dark wooden door of Dom’s apartment had never looked more intimidating. He took a deep breath and pressed the doorbell twice, like he always did. It took a few seconds and then the door opened slowly. Dom was standing there in nothing but his boxers, hair all messed up, face sad, tired and confused.

Elijah froze and just stared at him. He had looked so young when he had opened the door. Yes, Elijah was aware of the fact that he was younger then Dominic, but he had looked like a five-year-old boy that had just lost his mother.

He realized that if he wouldn’t do anything very soon, Dom would probably just shut the door right in his face again. He took a small step closer to Dom, a step that was quickly followed by another and another. Soon they were standing face to face, the door still half-open.

Desire overtook him and he leant in and pressed his lips against Dom without warning.
“Dom...” he fumbled with the words against Dom’s lips.

There was so much that he wanted to say, to explain… He had been an actor for ages and years of hearing that it did matter who you dated or loved left its traces, whether you wanted it or not. He was just opening his mouth to say this out loud when Dom silenced him with kissing him back. It was amazing how quick Dom got the power over Elijah just by kissing him, and he couldn’t help but to shiver at the thought of doing more then kissing him.

“Are you sure this is what you want, Elijah?” Dom pulled back and looked at him. In his eyes Elijah could read that this was not some sort of a one-night stand, if he were to do this he had to face the consequences. He thought about what the tabloids would look like and caught himself thinking of what picture the papers would pick. Would they pick one of them kissing? Would the picture show how weak Elijah’s knees were? How fast his heart was pounding? How desperately he needed Dominic?

Going back to reality, he nodded and said, “I don’t think I’ve ever been more sure about anything before.”

*

And it wasn’t until then, hours later; when Dom rested his head on Elijah’s collarbone, their legs entwined, arms around each other, both their bodies damp with sweat, that Elijah realized that this was how it was meant to be. The smile grew big on his face as he closed his eyes and slowly drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

Because what was the use in dreaming when his life seemed to have become one?
