Six random drabbles...

I bring six (unrelated) improv drabbles. All of them are exactly 100 words. Different pairings, but no sign of my OTP.

Detonate
Sean Astin/Elijah Wood

It was like a bomb. They were like bombs.
The sexual tension ebbed away at the time until there was hardly anything left. The time slowly ticked down.

The point when the bomb detonated? When they kissed.

It didn’t matter. When Sean leaned into Elijah and kissed him hard and violently, it didn’t matter that he had a wife and child. It didn’t matter that they were co-workers. It didn’t matter that they were two guys. It didn’t matter that their friendship was ruined from that point on. Nothing even mattered, because everything around them had disappeared with the explosion.

Frenzy
Elijah-centric

The crowd was in a frenzy. Elijah looked out into the crowd of fans, and made a note in the back of his mind to never forget that moment.

The arms flailing. The papers and sharpie markers being thrusted at him. The pitch of the screaming voices.

It was all surreal. All too good, yet at the same time all too annoying.

He loved his fans, yet at the same time resented them. They had anonymity. They didn’t have paparazzi following them and their friends around, wondering if any of them were shagging.

Yet he was "important", so he obliged.

Other
Dominic Monaghan/Orlando Bloom

He sat down Dominic and told him the truth. That he had found someone else.
Dom didn’t say anything for about five minutes. Orlando had expected to throw something, to yell, swear. But he didn’t. He just sat there, stunned.

Orlando just wanted to leave the room, and leave this behind him. Everything.

That’s why he had started sleeping around in the first place, right? To get away?

No, that wasn’t it.

It was because for the first time in his life, Orlando had fallen in love and couldn’t accept it.

But telling Dom that wouldn’t make him feel better.

Crinkle
Billy Boyd/Orlando Bloom

The piece of paper was crinkled in Orlando’s hand. It was just a piece of paper, and he tried to tell himself that. But he knew that wasn’t completely true.

This invitation held emotional value.

Orlando had been expecting it to arrive, eventually. But the ‘maybe…’ part of his brain had been roped off and hoped it would never arrive.

He would go, of course, because wouldn’t it be suspicious if he didn’t? He would smile and insist that he’s over it, but would be dying inside.

“Billy and Ali…” he whispered as he tried to unwrinkle the wedding invitation.

Insult
Billy Boyd/Elijah Wood

The phone rang, and Billy stubbed his toe on his way to pick it up as fast as possible. He always hated the ring tone, but never bothered to change it.

“Feckin’ hell- hello?”

A giggle greeted him on the other end. Billy recognized it immediately as Elijah’s.
“Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Has anyone called you Irish yet?”

“Don’t even start...” Billy said warningly.

“Do people tell you that you’re cute when you get irritated?”

“The same people that call me ‘Irish’.”

“What are you trying to say?” Elijah asked in his teasing voice.

“I consider it an insult.”

“Well...don’t.”

Exhale
Sean Astin/Dominic Monaghan

Sean watched Dominic do his yoga. Same time, same place, every day. He would watch Dom do the Sun Salutation from the corner of the room.

Sean was never sure whether Dominic even knew he was there, but he didn’t think Dom would mind.

He would always watch Dom’s chest rise up and down. Inhale. Exhale. And everyday, Sean’s breathing would end up in unison with Dominic’s.

He would always marvel at the way Dominic could seem so calm and at peace when he was in (what looked like) some rather uncomfortable positions.

‘One morning,’ Sean thought. ‘I’ll join him.’

Feedback (especially Constructive Criticism) is appreciated.
