Author's Notes: I decided to give in a write a sequel to Convolutions and Confusion. I hope this provides some closure, and I hope you've enjoyed reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it...

The passing headlights blurred as they hit the windshield, splashing and expanding into waves of color, and Dom had no idea if this transformation was caused by the rain outside of the car or the tears coating his eyes. He glanced out the passenger window and followed the still-familiar path. Turn right at the JiffyLube, left at the fork in the road, go straight through the stoplight, and oh my, I don't think we're in Scotland anymore, Toto.
When Dom closed his eyes, he felt the pulse of blood beating against his ears in perfect rhythm with the song on the car stereo. Bum, bum, bum against his eardrum. "What reason do you need to be shy?"
Dom's body swayed and shifted lightly in the car seat as Elijah turned into the driveway, and even that felt right. It felt familiar. It felt like two years ago. No, it felt like forever, like eternity.
Slide, click, swish. That's what Elijah's door sounded like from the outside. That's what it sounded like when he knew he was in trouble, but also when he knew everything was finally going to be okay.
Elijah got a beer from the refrigerator. The light from the open door cast an Elijah-silhouette on the tile. Dom glanced inside. Two jugs of milk sat side by side--one skim and one 2%--like they'd always been there. Like they belong there.
"I need a fix, 'cause I'm going down." Navy sheets, yeah. Dom's back hit the mattress as Elijah crawled on top of him, and when he came, it felt like coming home.
