No regrets.
That’s what they’d agreed.
Billy had enjoyed every second they spent together. He had never felt so comfortable, so alive, so loved. Every memory cherished, relived many times; hugs, kisses, lingering glances, and long nights spent together.
But it couldn’t last.
Now, watching Dom move on, he felt nauseous; his heart clenched at flirtatious touches, his smile faded when some beauty made Dom laugh. When asked if it was love, Billy would shrug it off; deep down, being honest with himself, he knew he would never feel the same about someone again.
