No angst spotted for miles... wow.

“C’mon, are ya’ chicken?” Dom taunted, bouncing with joy as he saw Billy squirm with indecision.

“No, of course not!” Billy spoke indignantly before taking in a deep breath and answering. “Dare.”

A wide grin grew on Dominic’s face. “Ahh, dare; my specialty.” He tapped a finger to his chin before stopping in mid-tap. He pointed to the other side of the circle. “Orli. Tongue. Now.”

Orlando sat up, staring at Dom. “Hey, uhh… are you allowed to incorporate me in his dare?”

“It looks that way, doesn’t it?” The hobbit laughed merrily. He reached over to give Billy a push in Orlando’s direction. “Get going, we haven’t got all day!”

“Yeah, yeah…” Billy mumbled, crawling over to his friend. He smirked and, once he was sitting in front of Orlando, stuck out his tongue. Orlando did the same, and their tongues touched briefly. Grinning triumphantly at a shocked Dominic, Billy patted Orlando on the shoulder before returning to his spot against the couch.

“What?!? That wasn’t the dare! That doesn’t count!”

“You didn’t specify,” Billy pointed out.

“Now I am! Return! Return!”

“No, sorry, mate. Too late!”

Grumbling, Dominic leaned forward, placing his head in his palms. “Fine,” he muttered, “I’ll get you next time, just you wait.”

“Billy’s turn!” Elijah chimed.

“Eh, I’m going to the kitchen to get a beer,” Billy pushed himself to his feet. “Anyone else want one?”

“Yeah, but… it’s your turn!”

“I hand over the honor of my turn to young Elijah there.” The eldest man grinned, turning and walking from the room.

Seconds later, he heard a yell emerge from the living room. “What?!?” It was Dominic.

He returned to the room, staring at Elijah’s and Orlando’s grins, and Dominic’s look of fear. “No, no way,” Dom shook his head, biting his lip nervously.

“Yes way,” Elijah spoke gleefully. “Go to it, Merry!”

Licking his lips, Dominic let out a shaking breath. “Well, you guys have to leave.”

“What?” Elijah’s eyes widened. “No way! I’m not missing out on this!”

“Lij,” Orlando spoke softly, watching Dominic knowingly. “C’mon.” He took a hold of Elijah’s arm, gently pulling him out of the room. “Let’s go play video games.”

Billy and Dominic could faintly hear Elijah as they disappeared: “Video games? Okay!”

Perplexed, Billy cocked an eyebrow and turned to Dominic, who was pacing in a wavered line. “What the hell was that?”

“…”

“…Dom?”

“That dare was completely below the belt,” Dom murmured, wringing his hands.

“What was it?”

“Um… well…” He gulped. “I’m supposed to admit to something.”

“What is it?”

Dominic finally stopped moving, staring into Billy’s eyes, a fair distance away (just in case I have to run to escape his wrath). “My feelings for you.” He averted his gaze to the ground, wrapping his spindly arms around his body protectively.

Billy couldn’t hold back a grin. “Well, in that case…” He knew he shouldn’t play with Dom’s emotions like this, but he couldn’t resist. “I have a confession to make as well.”

The look on Dominic’s face was priceless.
