Summary: 12th century England. Orlando is the son of a border lord near the Welsh Marches, a knight in all but ceremony, lacking only Henry III’s royal seal. Elijah is the youngest son of an impoverished family friend. Elijah has been living at Goodrich castle for four years; he’s been Orlando’s squire for two.
