A/N: I wrote this in a very short time when i was bored, forgive me if it's kind of sloppy.
Elijah gazed out over the balcony watching the storm roll in over the ocean. He was standing out on the balcony having a smoke and watching the rain far out on the ocean. Thunderstorms always fascinated him. The wind started to pick up and Elijah shivered. He didn’t hear the door open behind him, and was unaware of Dom’s presence until he heard that familiar accent.
“Cold?” He said and punched Elijah on the shoulder. Elijah didn’t respond.
Dom walked and stood next to Elijah, trying to see what he was seeing. The storm clouds reflected in Elijah’s eyes, almost like Elijah was becoming the storm himself.
“Isn’t this fascinating, Dom?” Elijah asked, still entranced in what was going on over the ocean.
“I’ve never really been much for storms. Scared me when I was a wee.”
“You still are a wee.” Elijah said with a smirk and continued watching the storm. Dom snorted and walked inside.
Elijah stayed out there for almost an hour, right up until the storm started to pick up on land.
Dom was lying down on the couch, about to fall asleep while watching TV when Elijah came up and jumped on the couch beside him.
“Lij, you’re blocking my view.”
“Dom, you were practically asleep.”
“…Bugger” Dom pushed Elijah off the couch and onto the floor and closed his eyes.
Suddenly Elijah sat up. “C’mere. I want you to do something with me.” Dom was skeptical but he followed Elijah’s orders nonetheless.
Dom was guided downstairs and to the front door.
“Lij, if you’re think you’re getting me outside, you’re mad.”
“Dom, you’re no fun. Trust me, you’ll like this.”
Elijah had Dom outside within seconds. It was pouring down rain, almost hailing. Elijah took Dom’s hand and pulled him further out into the yard. Lightening was everywhere and the thunder was deafening. By this time, both Elijah and Dom were soaking wet and the bottoms of their pants were caked in mud. Elijah attempted to run but failed. He slipped and fell into a huge mud pile, taking Dom with him.
“You bloody wanker!” Dom mumbled as he tried to get up, but failed just as miserably and landed on top of Elijah. Dom just stared into those beautiful, saucer-like eyes and couldn’t restrain himself. He pushed Elijah’s hair out of his face and kissed him passionately. Since the first time they’d come out, the rain wasn’t cold, the mud wasn’t thick and the world practically stopped.
Before then, Dom had only thought of Elijah as a best mate. And now, seeing the look of horror in Elijah’s eyes, so had Elijah, and it was obvious he still felt that way.
Elijah stood up quickly and ran to his car, pulling out his keys. He threw open the door, turned on the car and pulled out of the driveway before Dom could even realize what was going on.
What had he done? It was now tears that soaked his face.
Lightening flashed.
