Quotes from the FotR Dvd Commentary.  Mostly from Dom and Billy, but Elijah and sometimes Sean pipe up.  From the first half only...

 

Dom: That noise is Billy shrieking like a girl.

Sean: Billy screaming like a girl.

Dom: Cuz he thought his pants were on fire.

(Hobbits laugh)

Elijah: Is that really on the soundtrack?!

Sean: Yeah!

Billy: Nobody told us that it was actually gonna blow up! You know? I just thought that we were gonna do that, and then do the blowing up bit *later!*

(Elijah is crying with laughter)

Billy:  So, it *did* blow up.  I shrieked.  Wet myself.

Dom: I kind of laughed.

Billy: He laughed. 

Dom: And they kept the take!

Billy: And he has called me “Pissy Legs” ever since.

 

 

Dom: I have a stamp. I’ve got a wax stamp with a “D” on it.

Sean: Do you really?  They’re the coolest things in the world

Elijah: I’ve got a wax stamp with the Japanese letters for “Frodo” on it.

Dom: That’s right, I got mine from Japan as well.

Billy: Well I look forward to a correspondence with you, Dom.

Dom: I will *never* send you a letter.

Billy: Well thank you very much.

Dom: Never ever.

(long silence)
Elijah: I’ll send you one, Billy.

Billy: Thank you.  Thank you Elijah.

(Dom mumbles under breath)

 

 

Elijah: All those days of playing, “Cup.”

(Hobbits agree)

Dom: “Cup” was a fantastic game.

Billy: By the way, for those of you who don’t know, “Cup” is when you take a paper cup--

Sean: (interrupting) Dixie Cup.

Billy: Or a Dixie Cup if you’re American.

Dom: Or just paper cup if you speak English.

 

 

Elijah: Speaking of game making, what was the fake game that y’all tried to get me into?

Billy: Tig??  (laughing)

Dom: Tig, tug, tag?  Tig!

Elijah: Tig, oh my God...

Billy: In Tig, it was when we were filming Weathertop, and myself and Dom, just started “tigging” each other.  Just touching an arm and going, “Tig,” “Tig.”  Just for no reason!  And then, Sean came over.

Sean: Slightly different from Tag.

Billy: And he came over and he started doing it as well. “Tig.” And then we started going, “Tigtig.”  “Tigtag,” like, for no reason!

Dom: Tim tog tig.

Billy: And then Elijah came over and says, “what are you guys doing?”  I say, oh we’re playing a game, called Tig.  He goes, “How do you play?”  And I think we spent the next two hours making up rules.

Elijah: And trying to teach me and of course I was getting everything wrong.

Sean: He couldn’t follow the game and the three of us were ever frustrated because he couldn’t follow these new rules that we were continuing to make up.

Dom: So the three of us were constantly getting it right, and every time Elijah tried a new way of Tigging someone, we’d go “No, Elijah.  You can’t Tig on a Tog, you can’t Tag on a Tig.  You have to do an elephant impression if you’re gonna Tig Billy.  If Billy’s gonna Tig you back you have to get on your knees and take your trousers down....”

Billy: How many times, Elijah?  You can’t double-Tig a Tag.

 

 

Elijah: My whole world came shattering down on me when they told me that was a lie.  Cuz for a whole year I  believed that that was a real game and then they told me....

Dom: Sorry Elijah.

Billy: Sorry Elijah.

Elijah: What else was not true?  That’s what I was asking.

Sean: It undermines the integrity of the entire relationship.

Dom: It was part of the whole bonding experience.

Billy: Although me and Dom are actually just lies.

 

 

Dom: Stupid Sam!

Sean: Well, I’m not the one who stopped in the middle of the road.

Dom: Well, we could have stayed up if you hadn’t *banged* into us!

 

 

Dom: Again, I don’t know what’s happening here, but Billy and I look really handsome.  Some strange cinematography here.

Elijah: May have been the digital grading.

 

 

Dom: (The Nazgul) are probably just saying to themselves, “Pillows!  The Hobbits are just pillows! Who’d of thought it?”

Billy: (Imitating Nazgul) “They become feathers, when you stab them!”

Dom: How can they carry a ring if they’re just feathers??

 

 

(The shot when the Hobbits wake up to the sounds of the Nazgul screeching across the street)

Dom: I remember having a slight laughing fit when we did this scene, because I was so close to you.  (Billy giggles) Seeming, further and further into you.

That's IT. I'm stealing my brother's EEs and taking them back to school with me, and they shall be my weekend watchables. And if he wants them back, well, he'll just have to wait until April. Bwahahaha.
