Reincarnation and Postage Stamps, Part 2/9

Title: Reincarnation and Postage Stamps, Part 2/9
Author: The Phantom Writer [livejournal.com profile] silentnumbsmoke
Pairing: BB/DM
Rating: PG-13
Feedback: Please?
Disclaimer: Meh. Damn. Don't own 'em.
Notes: 1) This is a story that I've been obsessing over, so, if you do comment, please be nice.
2) Yayayay to my beta reader, [livejournal.com profile] airlia_vega, for putting up with my obsession!
3) This is angsty. With little bits o' fluff.
4) This is another short part, just like the first. All the other parts are much longer!
5) It would be suggested that you read Part I before reading this!

Part II

Billy hated secrets. The knowledge of a secret’s presence continually kept him on edge. He observed, but was no closer to an answer. He watched silently as Dom checked over his shoulder before opening certain emails. He failed to protest as Dom told him that he was going out to rent some movies, then returned some two hours later, empty-handed and frowning. He didn’t push the subject when Dom told him he didn’t ‘want to talk about it’ after he’d burst out into silent tears after making love.

For a man who used to turn his house inside-and-out a week before Christmas searching for presents when he was a child, he was being awfully patient.

Of course, his overly-reactive imagination had come up with dozens of possible situations Dom could be in. Without proof of any of them, he stayed up nights, staring into the darkness, mulling over the seemingly innocent, snoring man beside him.

Well aware of the dark bags under his eyes in the morning, he made a decision. No more dodging about. He had to ask Dom.
