First RPS Fic
Well, this is my first attempt at LOTR RPS, but not my first attempt at slash. Takes place around the holiday season and it's a series of drabbles. I think there are 10 in all, 1 per day. Comments, critizisms and improments would be appreciated.

-------
December 23
-------
He stared at the endless lines of cars in front of him and checked his watch again, realising he had been sitting in exactly the same spot for the past hour.
Dom took out his mobile phone and pressed the speed dial for Billy.
“Hello?”
“Bills, I think I’m going to be a lot later than planned.”
“Any particular reason why?”
“Traffic. I’ve been in the same spot on the motorway for over an hour, and it doesn’t look like we’ll be moving anytime soon.”
“I guess I’ll see you when you get here.”
“Guess so.”
He ended the call.
-------
December 24
-------
Dom sat on the steps in front of Billy’s door. He knew the car would be a lot warmer, but he didn’t want to look as though he was a stalker.
So he sat in the freezing cold, wearing a thick coat and two scarves to battle the Scottish weather, and cursed Billy for being out.
“Can I help you?”
“I’m just waiting for my friend. He’ll be here soon.”
“I’ll let you in. Billy told me to look out for you while he was gone.”
She unlocked the door, and promptly asked for his autograph, which he gave willingly.
-------
December 25
-------
“Billy… Billy…”
He awoke to find Dom poking him in the side, already fully dressed and with a large grin on his face.
“Dom, what time do you think this is?”
“Time to open presents.”
“It’s five in the morning! Go back to bed Dom.”
“Not tired. Besides, aren’t you excited to know what you got for Christmas?”
Billy sighed, knowing that he wasn’t going to get anywhere with Dom while he was in this mood, and nodded obediently.
“Fine. We’ll the presents. Then we can go back to bed.”
“We can spend the whole day there if you want.”
-------
December 26
-------
“I don’t get this day. What’s it for again?”
“Don’t know. I think it’s just an excuse for families to spend more time together.”
“Like we are.”
“Yeah. Like us.”
They were curled up together in front of the fire, each having a blanket pulled around them and watching a movie, although neither was paying any attention to what the movie was about.
“Why are you spending Christmas with me anyway?”
“Because I promised you. And I love you.”
“Love you too Billy.”
Dom leaned in to kiss Billy on the cheek very gently. He smiled, and returned the gesture.
-------
December 27
-------
They walked through the centre of Glasgow, one looking like a tourist and the other a native – Dom still wore his two scarves, claiming that he liked wearing them together, but Billy knew that he was cold. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the holiday period at home, but to the two men being with each other was home.
No words were spoken, there didn’t need to be words when they had each other, and they walked so close together that their shoulders touched through layers of material, both wishing it was warmer so that they could feel the other’s skin.
-------
December 28
-------
They rarely argued about anything, but Dom was being stubborn and though Billy would just ignore it usually, today he didn’t have the time or patience.
“I won’t know anyone there… and you’ll know everyone.”
“Dom, I have never seem you go to a pub without making new friends. Everyone will love you.”
He didn’t reply, just sat on the bed, so childlike in nature Billy couldn’t help but smile.
“I’ll buy you a drink…”
“Two drinks. Then I’ll come.”
“Deal.”
And Billy found himself being kissed on the cheek by Dom before he had even seen the man move.
-------
December 29
-------
Billy awoke to fun a familiar naked body pressed against his own, and his face buried in recently grown hair. Dom was resting against his shoulder, looking almost angelic in sleep. He traced Dom’s cheek gently with his thumb, knowing that ending up in the same bed was bound to happen sooner or later, they seemed to be drawn to each other like magnets were.
He didn’t want to sleep again, he just wanted to stare at Dom sleeping, but he found his eyelids drooping and soon drifted into slumber.
When Dom woke, he kissed Billy gently on the lips.
-------
December 30
-------
Dom watched Billy as he cooked their breakfast, enjoying the sight of his bare chest, knowing that tomorrow he wouldn’t be allowed to enjoy it anymore because his girlfriend was coming for New Year.
The phone rang, but it didn’t disturb Dom out of his thoughts until he felt Billy tapping him on the shoulder.
“Who was that?”
“Christine. She’s snowed in at her parent’s place and won’t be able to get here.”
“So I get you all to myself?”
“You even get to kiss me at midnight if you want.”
“Of course I want. I want you… only you.”
-------
December 31
-------
Neither really wanted to go out tonight, they were content to have a less interesting party with only themselves invited if it meant spending those few precious hours alone. They each had a beer in hand as they watched the television shows recapping the year, and both commenting.
Dom remembered the New Year’s Eve they had spent in Manchester three years ago and how Billy had slept in his childhood bed with him, right under his parents’ noses.
At midnight, they kissed gently and then more passionately, until everything else was forgotten about and they were lost in the other.
-------
January 1
-------
“BillyBillyBillyBillyBillyBilly!”
Dom calling his name woke him up, a grin on his face that he’d never seen before.
“What is it Dom?”
“It snowed while we were asleep.”
“What’s your point?”
“Billy, its snow.”
“I’ve seen snow before.”
He turned over and pulled the covers around his neck to stop himself from shivering from the cold, but Dom pulled them off and dragged him out of bed. And when he really looked at Dom, he knew that Dom was truly excited about the snow outside and resigned himself to the fact that he just couldn’t say no to this man.
-------
January 2
-------
Billy stared out of the window at the snowman that he and Dom had built.
He glanced over at Dom who was still sleeping, duvet wrapped around his body, hogging the covers as usual.
Billy wouldn’t have it any other way.
Downstairs he began to make breakfast for the two of them, eggs and bacon, their traditional final morning breakfast which he always made. A familiar pair of arms snuck around his waist and he leaned back, breakfast temporarily forgotten.
“You didn’t wake me.”
“I didn’t need to. I knew you’d miss me eventually.”
“You’re right. I did miss you.”
-------
January 3
-------
Billy woke up cold and alone, and wanted nothing more than to curl into Dom’s arms and sleep for the rest of the day.
When he got up he listened to his messages – all from Dom except one from Christine.
He didn’t call her back, but picked up the phone and spoke to his best friend about everything and nothing, and realised exactly how easy it was to talk to him and how right they were for each other.
He knew that if he hadn’t been so scared then Dom would be here right now, because he’d promised Billy forever.
