I've said it before and I'll say it again..this is my *favorite-est* AU eva!!

The characterizations of the boys is just lovely and I alternately want to hug/comfort and slap them upside the heads all at the same time! And you so capture the feeling of college that I almost believe *I'm* back in the dorms myself. Cosidering those were the 2 best years of my life, it's a good thing.

One question, do you have a specific school in mind here. It's weird but I actually envision the campus of Ohio State perfectly during this story(Go Bucks!) I think it's all the marching band stuff ;)

Oh and I usually don't like tampering with the purity of people's stories by makinf suggestion but *cough* SirIanWouldMakeAnExcellentEnglishProf *cough*

I'm glad you're getting the dorms feeling from it. I also spent two years in 'em and while it was never like that I'm trying desparately to reclaim that same spirit - it's just so difficult with everybody going through different things.

I do have a specific school in mind but it's not OSU. But you are on the right track with the marching band connection. I'll tell ya this though: the marching band Elijah's in has a better collegiate record than his football team. *winks*
